You can cow and pull a load of stumps out of our ditches… there full!🤣😭🤦‍♂. The short oak will probably go for firewood, long timber might go for building timber. Always nice having a decent fire, I had one yesterday to clear out the old fencing pile 😁

If only I knew where you was, I'd come and get a few long bits of Hhazel so I can use them as washing line props. My Gran had hazel props and they lasted her hundreds of years. I think my 86 year old aunt is still using one of grans props!

Very disappointed that you weren't wearing any PPE when using the chainsaw. Little wonder farming has such a poor safety record.

Easy to get carried away with a battery saw as there is no noise and very little kick back. For me a helmet or atleast safety glasses is a must even with my battery saw and literally a couple.of cuts like say notching a straining post.

It’s a shame so much good burning wood is just set on fire. Your waste will definitely be another families heating. Not for this winter but definitely next. . Small woodburners don’t need big bits. You could possibly allow friends and family to come and see what they can get before burning . I am collecting every bit I can now as I see it. 🙏🦙
