I just can't get enough of you and your family! You are so dedicated to your family and you also express it and share it via your RU-vid channel. It's amazing. I can't stop smiling knowing that you have found nirvana! 🥰

Congrats to Abby for representing the town that will be so fun. As for the goats I would be careful about getting a male goat. I raised two from babies and they still head but you. I even had to sell me male sheep I raised from a baby bc he charged me 3 times and knocked me down. I still have a scar from his horns and the outline of the bruise from last summer.
Hello, super woman, if you want to eat tacos, come to Guadalajara and I recommend some. one of the best golden barbecue tacos.. 🤤 😋 saludos desde guadalajara 😊
Congrats on Abby and het nomination. I’m sure it’s going to be a blast. Baby goats do require a bit of space though. Something around 10sq feet. Aside from that you’ll need the up keep: food, bedding, and space for them to move around. Seeing how you work on your animals you won’t have a problem. You’re a hard worker. Congrats again to Abby and best of luck with everything. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
Goats do well in herds. So you should get two. You would need 200 feet of pasture space. Goats long to graze. So they would need a space to graze, and they would need shelter. Goats also need veterinary care. Goats love to climb, so make a wooden plastructure, or throw in some old tires. Like a jungle gym but or goats. You would need 200 feet of pasture space per goat. Let's say you had 1-acre of land, you could easily have 6-8 goats. But 2 you should start off with.
Thank you ! We have all these things I hope we get two soon ! Thank you for watching and I kept a lot of wood stumps I loved now I know why lol for the future goats.
I think Abby will do great and learn a lot from the experience of la Reina. The kids in the square were too cute. You are such a sweet mom so of course they will love your channel. 😀💖
I think so 💕 I am a little nervous because I didn't grow up here I don't know everything about it so I hope I don't miss a step with her. Thank you so much for watching and supporting our family. Blessings to you and your family.
Oh my goodness I wish I filmed the last one. I run back and fourth making them and the kids are wrapping them and giving change. It's fun and nerve racking 🙂❤️
Hey Erin, I love all your videos I just saw your video your biggest fan Lily, Lily, and Haley. We love all your videos so glad that you’re making these. We could see all of them. We’re watching all of them that we missed right now. Love you so much .
Truly love this lifestyle. Brings back memories of my village in Cambodia where I grew up. I'm glad I came across your channel. Great job and keep up the good work! Question: What kind of paint do you use on your fruit tree? Good Luck Abby!
😂 I was terrified to say it hahah I don't think I will get it right. I can only imagine the times I have said the wrong words I normal conversations. The other day I was telling someone I will pay you in Spanish and she said no your saying you will hit me 😐 I have been saying hit instead of pay for a year.
@@touchoflighthomesteadmexico I am not Mexican but I know, I have similar issues when communicating with my Spanish speaking coworkers. I can hear you now pegar vs pagar. Are you Mexican American? I'm Iraqi BTW
@@touchoflighthomesteadmexico don't be shy. My English was bad at first but the more I tried the better it got. I remember that you said your kids or someone laughed at your Spanish. They should help you instead. You'll do great soon
@@touchoflighthomesteadmexicoHola from Phoenix Arizona 🌵 USA 🇺🇸 Lol I'm talking as if you don't know where AS is hahaha.... Anyway Lil'Lady, you sound so cute when you are speaking Spanish. Lil'Lady I am Mexican American and as far as my DNA results are concerned I am part Mexican, Indigenous Mexican and indigenous American 31% with Mom's side I'm 30% British with 8% Spanish and blah blah blah with my other low % blood from 5x great grand ancestors LoL ANYWAY...... I should know more Mexican Spanish than I do at age 54. I just cannot say certain words, I sure can't roll my R's 😊 and i always put sentences in our american form, i forget to say it in reverse when talking in Spanish. *For example:* *El Alma y El Cuerpo* *Body and Soul* *Beginners or ME would think and still say it:* *Soul and Body* Love your channel, I think I've been through your town. 100% been through the same areas in Guadalajara you walked around in. Did you get to see the Catholic Cathedral in the historic center of the city where the mummified girl is displayed? Some say that she moves her eyelids. I took photos of the outside of Maria Santisima Cathedral but nahhhh the spooked vibe of the wind I got from across the street said DO NOT ENTER CONSUELO 🤭 and I took it as an order. Straight up NO 😅 I stayed in Guadalajara for a week in August of 2014 when my youngest son 22 at the time almost lost his life from a severe head injury in Tequila Jalisco. My Dad's family are originally from Augascalientes Augascalientes Mex but my son was there with his father who is also from Augascalientes Augascalientes Mex 😊 I'll be forever grateful for the awesome first responders who had stopped on the side of the highway when a guy my son was with waved at the ambulance who happened to be going at high speed from Tequila with a severely injured man already onboard the ambulance. THANK GOD for them because my son was literally losing blood almost gone, in the middle of nowhere fooling around on a parked train. These first responders hesitated thinking the guy was waving to say hello but the awesome driver decided to stop and within a few seconds they knew someone needed medical attention fast. Surgeon said 10 minutes more my wound not gained it. The lady who cared for both patients in the back of the ambulance is now my long distance friend. Doctors at the old Hospital Civil de Guadalajara are amazing. Don't be fooled by the difference between the hospitals in the USA vs the old and new hospitals en Guadalajara Mex. I actually slept under my son's hospital bed with big sewer roaches sneaking around my head and I still praise the medical team for saving my son's life. Yes, Coronel Calderon 777 Is the place to go for something serious like surgical procedures. The security for the medical building, great 👍🏼 the hospital is old and outdated but they have my five stars LoL. Oh and what hospital on earth allows A BEAUTIFUL SLL FEMALE MARIACHI BAND play in the corridor ? It's was amazing. I took a quick photo them tambien ❤ Bless you and your beautiful family Lil'Lady. By the way..... You look so pretty and young. You could pass as any of the kids big sister 😊
@@touchoflighthomesteadmexico Sorry 😊 when I talk about my son's injury and miracle I get excited and go into details. I told you the shorter version 😂
Hello beautiful family from Oxnard California, I am from Ocotlan and very soon I will be there, I hope to be lucky enough to find you on one of the streets of my beautiful Ocotlan. Greetings and see you soon there.🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽❤
Happy blessed and beautiful Saturday evening. my beautiful hard working family.Good luck to you Abby,God bless you all beautiful family.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🐔🐣🐥🐤🐇🐇🐕🐕🐓🐄🐖🐖
Abby I hope everything goes well for you, you have our full support, and Erin, how were the churros? They looked delicious, good video, and beautiful landscapes.
Hi Erin, is a town not ranch. you dont call a little town in the USA a ranch right? A ranch is something totally different, y no hay tal concurso de "la reina," has a,diferent name. Greetings you guys! Love your RU-vid channel. ✌🏼👊🏼😊
An agricultural hamlet in México is called a "rancho", because in the old times, in the big agricultural/cattle land (el rancho) there were houses for the workers and their families, these houses were clustered together but within the ranch limits. These big haciendas type of properties disappeared with time and new land ownership laws but the name remained.
I wonder if you could find more out about our ranch. Our family has deep roots here and my children's great grandpa is on a statue with the other founders.
@@touchoflighthomesteadmexico Hi Erin, I think your best bet is the archive of land ownership records, kept in the municipal government building in Ocotlán. From what I can gather, the land ownership in your "rancho" is of Ejido type, comprising of smaller plots of land given to landless workers (peasants) few years after the Mexican revolution (1910).
@@touchoflighthomesteadmexico every city or municipality has one or several local historians called "cronistas de la ciudad", in this case one of them is Mr Javier de la Cruz, an older gentleman. Perhaps you can contact him enquiring at the municipal government building in Ocotlán, I've watched a couple of RU-vid videos and he seems very kind and willing to share the history of towns belonging to the municipality of Ocotlán.
Yes 💕 it is harder for me I think then them and they don't always understand why I need help translating or I don't always fit in as well but I wouldn't want it any other way I love it here. I hope its a door God keeps open.
