Great video! I have the same tractor! Mine is a 1956....serial no. 17090! I have several pieces of equipment for mine. They are the best garden tractors ever made imo. The 1 pt. fast hitch was way ahead of it's time and easier to hook up than anything else! Thanks for sharing! From Sophia, N.C.
I have a1963 Farmall 140 that Daddy bought used in 1976 and I've been using for everything ever since. I absolutely love the fast hitch on them. Both Daddy and I used it to raise tobacco crops as well as gardens and for the money, I think they're the best small farm tractor ever built. How does your 100 steer? Everyone I've talked to that had one said they steered better than any other tractor they had including the 140.
I also have a couple Farmall 100’s. 1956. I envy your #502. So nice to get the implements with it. Do you see any real difference in the 1-2 hp of the 140? I think your garden is large, but everything is relative. Thanks for sharing.
The tire sizes are different between my tractors so I cant really comment on the HP. The 100 feels smaller than the 140 to me. Maybe the sheet metal is the reason. The 100 also has the older style 123 engine with the low water pump and breather through the hood.
