I told my brother that many years ago when he slowed up buying the old iron, now I'm retired and it's about time to get some more of them tuned up and matched to implements.
The 100 will be perfect for your buzz saw. That guy had a lot of nice stuff there. Your rake is nice. Sure does work well. I'm surprised you didn't use the 57 Cub.
As I write this I'm trying to remember but I think it was at this gentleman's residence you found that Danuser blade. I've had mine for 14 or 15 years. It is a 2-point fast hitch but that can come off and you can put a 3-point on it. It's an eight foot blade you can drag forward spend the blade around push backwards angle left and right and tilt left and right and mine was in better condition and still is the one you showed lol. I use it on my 706 very little dirt work I've ever done with it it's straight as a narrow part of my use is for weight in the winter time I do not have fluid-filled tires but I do have wheel weights and then I've got I don't know another 200 250 lb hanging on the blade so when I do use the blade I've got weight since 706 does not have any down pressure it's a great tool cuts really good when you need to get into the sod
Excellent video also find Gino :) I remember back years ago on home farm the neighborhood neighbors had farm across road on east knew my dad looked for swing blade for level driving ways on our farm plus level big MACHINERY shed floor of top soil plus rocks nicely & so said let check out plus had owner manual plus parts for it and matinne records too! My dad bought for $350.00 and was awesome and sold with home farm back day too ! It was John Deere model for 3 point hitch too and surprises 40 hp or bigger work excellent on and yes feel pull ground on tractor on gas or deisel motors !
You got that right, if you see a rare find buy it now. I have a rake that is a little different but just like yours, does a great job leveling out the driveway.
The guy you bought the rake from was a real gent an proud to show his collection on camera 📸👌 when I saw your drive how packed it was did think 😂 for a minute would be to hard packed for that rake 🙄 wrong that made a cracker of a job 👌 Red Power 💥 an perhaps a 👍 for the song 🤣
@@FarmallFanatic Under $3 in SWFL today. Not cheap mind you, but headed back to pre Biden level. Gotta hope. Tax free at the moment, the hope but not the fuel!
That york rake worked pretty well on your cub. My dad and I have talked about looking for a little cub. Cool to see you down around my neck of the woods. Chad and his wife have some good pullin' tractors.
Cub did a great job! Farmall equipment is getting hard to find. Recently we got both front and back bolt on type two bottom busters for the Super C. Buy what you can they don't make equipment like that anymore! Thanks for sharing
Nice York rake, but I picked up on something there, about those of us that don't have our BN finished should get on it. His is kind of a special 113, I suspect. I've got a 153 that may need that re-stamp as well. LOL
Congrats on the york rake! It looks like the cub handles it really well. I picked me up a 5' a few months ago. It sure is nice to have. Have a good week! See ya!
My grandfather had a 1954 farmall H the only thing we did to it was put an muffler on it and he use to use it for spraying the fields with and he use to put two 55 gallon drums before he got a trailer that you pull behind a tractor yeah he had a 1954 farmall H and it was a puller around the farm pulling tree's and everything on the farm
Great find! Looks like it works great. I keep looking for a loader for mine, I'll probably find one and not have any extra money at the time, haha. Keep up with the good videos bud.
@@FarmallFanatic No prob, glad to see old school resurrection. Really enjoy your videos, we are unfortunately the last of a dieing breed of old souls, tools, tractors, farming.... The way our grandpa's taught us.... keep it up bud!!!!! .
Just makes me think of a time, my dad uncle's and grand dad were all carpenters all taught me my trade. One day my uncle asked me to help him bring home a tractor,..,.ok no prob. JD LA sitting stuck for only good lord knows in a swamp Two days later he had it running..... and showed me, I would have never thought.., Miss him dearly I used to drive that tractor 5 or 6 miles to the local tractor show. We had ways to haul, but to take them back roads.... the way he used to nothing like it!! I'll never forget!!!
@@FarmallFanatic I saw the one for the live upcoming. I was feeding heifers so I missed the notification for the start because my phone was in my vest pocket. The notification is just a short beep and not a ring so I usually can't hear it if I'm busy.
I think he is right. The one point Fasthitch was small prong, the 300/350 and up were the large prong. That disc and harrow are nice, too! Go ahead and get you a 100/130/140 to run that thing. And if the 1 bottom for the 1xx series is for sale, I'd love to know what he wants for it.
I would have left them two pins out for the turn and just let it work itself back and forth with a little bit of spray lubricant when you're working it just to get her to move hopefully
I have an old quick hitch scraper blade in the hedgerow 7 ft I think will go pull it out also Farmall super a in the barn don't use anymore with culltivators
What's a 1965 Farmall560 Diesel that has been completely restored with new rubber all the way around worth. They are wanting $8500 which I think is a little high. But man is it a pretty tractor
