I would love pretty much any Farmall with a loader but they're rare and expensive up here. Probably can't find one that runs for under 5k and that's too much to spend on something I won't get much use out of on a small lot. Very cool machine.
Late but made it Mr Brent!! Man I cant wait to see some work on tjat M, very very nice!! Yiu dont see quality loaders like that on older tractors around, very nice!! Boy I did a thing today, but man that super C is nice!!! Hopefully no talk of too many😉 Those fixes can drive a man insane, I know exactly!! Hoping you got it going!! Thank you Mr Brent!! 😁😁😁👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
@@Pennies_on_the_dollar Believe me Nelson, it's going to need some work.,.every time I look at it,I find more to fix....but the loader is a gem.... Thanks Nelson.
Hi! You have a 1953 SUPER M. I noticed the serial tag said SM for model and it has factory disk brakes which means you have the264 cubic inch engine and not the 248 cubic inch M engine from the factory. So you have the faster fourth gear and a lot more dead pulling power. Have a nice day. Tom.
Nice looking M. Rare to see a loader of that era that hasn’t been twisted or bent. You need a new wiring harness to erase all doubts when you get going. I see a wintertime restoration in your future. M was a great workhorse and wide front and PS is a bonus.
@@farawayfarm2520 Thought I was going to need a lesson in loader removal but watched a video...Boy is that slick taking the loader off and on. Thanks Will.
Very neat place you have Brent! You definitely have enough to keep you busy for quite a while! Especially the wiring! It’s gonna look great after you do your thing! 👍👀👍
Good morning Brent! Is that a Schwarts wide front? If it is, it won’t be heavy enough for any loader work. You will love the power steering and live power.
@@brenterickson1695 that’s a good thing. I had a 720 John Deere diesel with the Schwartz front end Never had a loader on it but it was obvious to me that it wasn’t heavy duty enough to handle the extra strain of a loader
My loader is the joystick version and they are going for around $4500 around here Brent. If you will take $1500 for yours, I will get the trailer hooked up after breakfast! 😁
That M will be a nice project tractor. Always something else that needs attention when it could have been a simple fix. The haybine should be ready once that is all done. Sure is a nice evening for once.
Yikes on that wiring! That loader is worth more then that..... by far. You could put it on the 706 even 😉😁 those resistors haven't given me too much trouble, 💩 in the fuel tank is my problem. Will can fill you in on dismounting that loader, its pretty easy once you get it figured out.
Thanks Adam...I'm no expert on tractor loaders, makes me feel a bit better hearing your comment.....Runs like a dream but o lord what a wiriring nightmare....
Brent westondorf is very good about parts.... they are pricey but they have excellent quality. I love the ta 26 on my cih 895. It's similar in size to your wl 21 just a different series, mostly for utility 4x4 tractors.
Oh I just checked the video again. There are two tabs in the front mount that you flip up and then you can back out of the loader, that part Will can explain to you better. That wl 21 you have is a bit newer then his I think.
Always nice to have serial number breaks... And hopefully get the right parts. 🤫 I've welded keys in before... And welded shafts up... Doesn't take long to spend a bunch on a simple repair... Gladly trade you parts bills.. Past 95 today.. was supposed to be 91. Tomorrow they said 87, we will see...
I just get irratated when it;s wrong, just do it right the first time....They have 8 of those shafts in stock ...they may have been a problem.......Thanks Ed.
@@brenterickson1695 seems like every time we need a shaft, it's either way more than it's worth, or too long to get one... Or both, so old school, repair it..
I know Will has a Westondorf loader. With all of the options that's nifty. I'm thinking my 45 is a 40k something so I believe that is a 42. Thank you Brent.
