Farmall M Discing with an International 370 Disc | Farmall Friday. Antique farm tractor in operation on the farm. Vintage farm tractor in operation on the farm. #farmallfanatic #farmall #antiquetractors
Yes they are but the H is as good, the C is as good... The Super M is better... International tractors built between 1940 and 1958 was their absolute best...
We are in a severe drought and a lot of other states are not getting near the rain they were hoping for. The M pulled through that field like it was dry. Lol Have a great weekend! See ya!
@@FarmallFanatic we just got some rain at the beginning of the week but it was not enough of it. If it doesn't start raining soon I don't think I will need to cut my grass all summer. Lol
I do the same you doing first time 2 second gear and I take my drag off second time 3rd gear and the drag is hooked to the back of the disk. Pulling a 10 ft with 12 ft drag two pieces of 3 in oil field pipe.
One thing my grandpa always insisted on is taking the belt pulleys off the tractors when he did field work... His theory is it is hard on the bearings to have the heavy pulley sitting out there when you're working in the field...
Out there getting it done ! We have been getting all kinds of rain as well . My corn and greenbeans are sitting in water as we speak . That Truckers Favorite corn I grow produced nice big ears planted in June last year so I would think you would still have time to plant corn . I plan on planting more corn when it dries up . I hope you have a fun weekend !
You have non stop rain... We've been on the dry side here and we can use some of your rain. I thought you were going to get stuck a couple of times and the M just kept going. Moisture can get into the fuel tank... We had rain and wind and the I started my Super W-6 a couple of days later. And it quit. looked and my sediment bowl was full of water so I had to drain it off... I swear by Sea Foam...
wet year potato row your wettest fields for eating corn. that's what daddy and grampaw had me to do. one thing if your going all in on that. make deep down rows point to drainage paths and it does involve hogging out a bit until the showers slow. we have walked the mini ditches with hoes and shovels. we have dug 3x8 canals between our flat fields and that drains it pretty fast too. the top view and you walking it along takes me back. I hope I gave you some insight to your drainage issue.
It's been a rough year for weather everywhere in the state FF. We are 1 hour west of Philadelphia. We tried chopping some meadow grass on Wednesday. We spent more ti.e pulling the trucks around with the chopper than we did chopping! Still not as bad as the spring of 98 when it rained everyday for 23 days straight!
Weather is about the same here in West Virginia northern panhandle FF. Its hard to get anything done, whether making furrows, making gardens, or making hay. Rains about 3 or 4 days every week. I seen in your field you had a few wet, muddy spots. Oh well you gotta do what you gotta do. The M did great job.
How has your 370 been for you?? I just bought one to go with my international roll over plow.. looking forward to running this duo... yours looks like it does a good job
What is your fix to stop from breaking latches for the cylinder?? I just bought a new one from Messicks and broke it after 2 times of use??? I've heard they can be a problem.. any tips would be helpful
Just plainly wet. Difficult and challenging but you obviously have the knowledge and the right equipment to eventually succeed-weather permitting. Is the seat on the M truly a Farmall era upgrade?
Hello just seems to wet Gino maybe better tomorrow. I've barely have my grass cut around here. Just my opinion I've allways used was taught to on a drag disc free swinging on a hydraulic disc fixed draw on it dics works better. Have a great night.
M stands for Mighty...the original Big Red. That's what a tractor should sound like. I just heard a 2 cylinder John Deere in another video and it got on my nerves. I feel your pain FF. Since last Saturday, I've had 3.7 inches of rain.
