Squatch sent me!! Never owned a MM. Operated a neighbors once when we needed an extra tractor. No idea of the model (it was 55 years ago + or -). I have a few tractors most were my Dad's. Farmall, JD, AC and Ford. Newest is a '52. Even though I'm not a MM guy, the UDLX is in my top 5 coolest tractors list! 👍👍👍
I miss those Farmall A, I drove at a young age rolling alfalfa for many hours. That will be a great Raffle to purchase a Ticket for an amazing fundraising event supporting local High School. :)
Dan, the red tractor, looks nice,I know you want it finished, soon it will be,still lookin around the south for a MM 302 narrow front, seen one in a pic,it’s froze and sheet metal is rough,so it can’t be junk,a frozen motor has never been a problem for me,but I don’t want a total mess either, still lookin, catch ya later.
Another great video Dan, the Super A project looks awesome, that's a real nice thing you're doing for the school by donating it back. Thank you for the mention, looking forward to the next video, as always. All the best. Peter 🇬🇧🚜
Rick Bork's Super A has a temp gauge, its mounted near the timing cover on a bracket, on the right side of the tractor (way up front) with the oil pressure gauge. Hope that helps.
The distillate ones did have a temp gauge and I think they were an option on all of them, but I believe (I know they were on a regular A) they mounted on the front of the motor around or on the distributor drive.
Nice, my Farmall Super A have factory temp meter, the probe sit on the left side of the block under the generator area and the meter is in the right just before the magneto
That tractor looks new. What do you think people would say if you painted that Farmall prairie gold or is that like blasphemous? Everything will get done in its own time.
