Hello everyone!
Welcome to the third installment in a new set of videos that will be coming over the next few weeks, Farmer Sims Guide To...
In these videos I plan on creating a reasonably detailed guide on a couple of my favourite, and must have mods for Farming Simulator 22...Courseplay and Autodrive.
In todays video I show how to create a custom field using Courseplays recording function, how to save that course (and any other course) into folders so you can use them again, and then we get out the big guns and hop onto a bigger map to demonstrate how to setup and run multiple machines!

Every video learn something new, didn't know you could define a field then have CP finish it. Can't imagine how much i am going to learn on AD. Really been waiting for that part to start.

Hey Jay! As always buddy I’m very glad you learned something from it, makes it worth doing :) Yeh I’m going to get on the Autodrive stuff asap….spot of life getting in the way at the mo but they’ll be coming, I promise!

Excellent tutorial mate. Now all them harvesters are full, you need to show us how you can automate the unloading so everything is super efficient.

Oh yes that’ll be coming once I’ve got a couple of the basic AD vids done, combining the two in my mind is the kind of ‘end goal’ of the set of vids :)

Great last episode of this tutorial. I'm impressed how this mod is so clever along with the mod programmers who wrote it. Cheers Chris! Yes it really is an impressive mod for this wonderful game. An absolute must for PC players in my opinion. Appreciate that buddy, this kind of 'tutorial' is very new to me and it doesn't come naturally hence the worry that I'm babbling nonsense ha! This finally got me going! Thanks bud! Watched a few videos but this was the clearest. Appreciate your work. I have two questions. My menu doesn’t have convoy distance. So I have the wrong version? 2. Do you have a video that explains the difference between lands, spiral, up/down, and racetrack and when to use each? Thanks again!

Hey Kirby! Without being in front of the game right now I'm almost certain that the convoy distance part only shows when you're in a vehicle and (possibly) only when you've activated a multi-vehicle course. At the minute I don't have a video that covers the different layouts of the field centers. I do plan on trying to add more to the CP/AD tutorial series but as for when that'll be I can't say right now mate :)

great video FS, you dont need to save the course, it can be copied from the courseplay console tab by cllicking the folder symbol in the bottom right and then each tractor, combine you select the copy folder

Great videos, can you run 2 different courses on one field, so a 4m subsoiler and a 5m stone picker behind, my game keeps freezing when i create the second course.

Hey Nero! You can run two different courses on one field, but not on the same machine. You’d have to run the subsoiler and stone picker on separate tractors. If you wanted to run the two on one machine you’d have to run the narrowest course so the narrower of the two implements wouldn’t miss anything, if you know what I mean? So in your case, the 4m subsoiler.

@@Nero_1069 aah I see. Well I know CP can be very CPU heavy when creating a course, especially in big fields. Obviously no offence is meant by this mate, but is your current CPU up to the job/half decent?

@@Farmer-Sim i think that might be it, it's a huge field 75 hectares, running 2080TI 9900k. its all cool, just running the stone picker on the 4m course. Thanks man, keep up the great videos.

@@Nero_1069 aah yes that could be the issue. Especially a big field with a relatively small tool width. I’ve had courses take up to 20-30 mins to create before on big fields haha! :)
