Hey there, I talk about the job below but I wanted to take a quick second to tell you about one of the viewers in our community. Christina Robinson has kidney disease and is needing help with funding a transplant. if you would like to help her here is a link to her gofundme page
gofund.me/02ec0a2d
while I was down in Texas I was looking on FaceBook and saw this and knew that I would have to do something about it. So on the tail end of our Sothern domination tour I dropped the girls off and continued onward & took off on my trip towards Kansas I spent 3 weeks cutting and cleaning some of the coolest properties I have ever done but it all started at this property. I really knew that I wanted to cut this historic cemetery but I will be honest I really didnt know what I was getting into until I got there. it was super overgrown and in the middle of nowhere & did not come prepared either. I was running low on not only drinking water but water to cook and clean. Out of desperation I had to put the job on hold and drove down the road in search for a source of water. I found an old farm house an knocked on the door. I got no answer so but I figured that no one would turn down someone in need of a little well water so I went ahead and hooked up to the camper and filled up my tank. I didn't finish the project in one day so I camped out beside the cemetery....it was a bit quiet lol. but on the second day I saw the first living soul since I got there. It turned out to be not "a local farmer" but "THE local farmer" (Dane). I guess he farms all of the land in that area.. well that farm house I talked about earlier. there was a man that lived there and farmed the area with him but it turns out that he had recently passed away. I have no doubt that they were good friends because the farmer spoke very highly of him. Dane was shocked that I was there and wondered how I even knew about the place. she said that the cemetery was mainly kids and that it hasn't been touched in almost 10 years. he said there use to be an elderly couple that took care of it but they passed away and the fund that they had gathered together to take care of the cemetery has dried up. I'm surprised that as a historic location that the state doesn't pay a company to maintain the location. so that's the wild and crazy story behind the wild and crazy grass and how i cleaned up this long forgotten cemetery. if you read this far I have a bounce video for you. I am wanting to put out a type of video that is very calming. i would live your feedback . so once you are done watching the video here is another one for you take a look at. • I KNOCKED on RANDOM DO... also if you go over there be sure to leave a comment so that I know you made it and if you read this far to know about it comment in this cemetery video "I know what you I have cooking".
want a sneak peek at new videos coming up. Check out our Instagram page.

Terrible. Haphazard, brainless, destruction of eternal personal property, just so you can create a job for yourself. If you can't hand mow/weed these properties, without damage....DON'T!!! The grass will grow back, it'll die, grow back....forever and a day. These graves can not grow back a broken edge or any other damage.

Destruction? He didn't destroy any graves and I've cut grass higher than that that bounced back within a few weeks due to the hardy nature of grass. (Note that Mister Beardy does this for a living whilst I am a housewife living in rural Australia) Cutting the grass will also enable people to avoid doing damage to the cemetary as well, providing protection due to increased visibility. It also means that people can maintain the graves more readily due to easier access.

My mother passed away in Tulsa Oklahoma and she was laid to rest in this cemetery with her mother and child. You don't know how much this means to me and my family. I no longer live in Oklahoma and haven't been for the better part of my life, but seeing this makes me want to take time off work to go see her and enjoy this moment you gave me. I had no idea the wild had taken over the property like this, it broke my heart and you really did something that means so much to me. Thank you and God Bless you and your family.

Thankful and grateful for the love and respect this incredible young man has for fellow human beings (and animals), both living and dead. He spends each day giving to others. He labors in sweat time and time again. His actions have brought me to tears on more than one occasion. To realize that there is someone like him out there gives me renewed hope for humankind. Imagine what our world would be like if more of us were like him. I'd imagine the true reward for him is in the knowing how blessed he is, evidenced by the love of his beautiful family.

For those saying that he damaged stones, believe me, cemeteries that are maintained by the city with maintenance staff do more damage to stones. Vandals do more damage. Those that don’t do their homework and use the wrong cleaning products on stones do more damage. This man barely made a scratch with a weed eater. He’s doing an excellent job. Cutting prarie grass at the same time the farmers get ready for the next growth spurt, thinking that he did something that would last? This is the one time I've seen this man do something in his videos that reminded me of being an individual in mental distress, trying to fix his life by cutting grass. I'm sorry to say it, but I will. This guy needed someone to stop him and give him some help. (And I don't mean helping him cut the prairie grass. This was a bout of OCD and nothing more.)

A town centre chapel is currently being converted to offices. It was long abandoned and becoming derelict. It was where we were baptised as babies, so I was glad it was restored, not demolished, but the gravestones, all Victorian or 18th century, which surrounded it have been moved and perched against a back fence. I hope I won't see cars parked on those graves. Another old Chapel, a Quaker place of worship, was converted into a cinema in the early 20th century. It's now a night club. Rumours of the ghosts of those buried at the rear persist...

No way a human body is ever discarded in land fill rubbish sites. Even when say a new road or tunnel is being constructed and a 2000 year old skeleton is unearthed it is relocated with dignity and respect. A head stone can be removed after a certain period of time if no living relatives remain.

For those that got excited about a grave marker being chipped, take the time to visit the commercial big Cemeteries and see how many metal markers have been chipped when they cut the lawns. And really when was the last time some relative of those laid to rest in this particular cemetery visited their ancestors grave site and cleaned up around it. Good Job, much appreciated. Many cemeteries West of Mississippi are at crossroads. People died on trip West and were buried in these small areas at crossroads in hopes of someday returning. Courthouses in nearest town would possibly have records as roads and highways sprang up. I live in rural Nebraska and there is cemetery not too far from me South of Lincoln. When I working in the oilfield everyday, I often ran across long forgotten cemeteries. It always seemed like such a sad thing to me. One in particular I remember was not far from Tulsa. I was told that sharecroppers had somebody pass, and the landowner gave them a place on the backside of the property to make a cemetery. I think it was used from the early 1900’s to the early 70’s. Most of the markers I saw were sandstone, and not much was left that a person could read. The latest one still had the little metal marker the funeral homes put out, but that was 15 years ago or so. A place very few people know about.

In 2021 I went to find my great-grandfather's grave in Appalachian Ohio (Lawrence Co). I used GPS to find it. It was up on the side of a mountain, in a tiny cemetery with a few dozen headstones. It was reasonably clear from brush, so it only took a couple of minutes to find the grave. While my wife & I were looking at the various headstones, a couple in a truck pulled up and we talked for a bit. They seemed quite pleased that we were there. Apparently, they had cleared it not long before. It was a great experience for me to see my great grandfather's grave. He came up from Virginia in the 1870s to dig iron ore and was crushed to death when a big rock fell on top of him in 1882.
