Farmerjohnsparts taking Transmission and final drive out of the John Deere 40 420 430 Tractor 

I have a issue with my 53 JD 40! The Tractor will roll in neutral however the engine wont spin. The engine will only spin in neutral. Would this be a clutch issue?

I have a 1953 JD 40 with a creak in the one wheel, sounds like a bearing. Would you know if i have to remove the whole final drive to replace the bearing?.
