Great show. I run a 70 hectare regenerative agroforrestry foundation in the Venezuelan. One of the challenges with Sintropics is the scaleability and appropriate manual labor base to provide ballanced food and meet economic needs for any significant quantity of people as a form of productive agriculture without compromising biodiversity and accumulation of fertility. I've been working lately on scaling shade crops like coffee, cacao, black pepper, cardomom, ginger, turmeric, sweet potatoes, arrow root, taro, etc under cover of diverse fruits, bean, nut and timber trees. I'm starting with 6 hectares in varietal microplots of 1600-2000 coffee and 100-200 cacao trees to experiment different densities and pruning styles. It's nothing new really. It's how things used to be done. They call it Konuko here... But the comercial optimization is key to attract the general public to such complex systems and concepts, intuitive as they should be.
