So as some useless information when you change from the 070 top end to the 090 top end is when you get the vibration due to wieght difference in the piston

Not sure. Current bar Stihl sells will not work. I bought the cannon. It's seems like it should. It will cost you nothing to try it if you have it. I never touched an 08

steve stevens it will blow the doors off a 660 any size. these are still used in the jungle. slower and much more gunt. perfect for milling. I am showing it off I bought it for my mill but I need to break it in. see my comments.

Bedford Teague how can it blow the doors off a big bore 066 that is like 5cc smaller than it? The 066 would also turn way more tom have like 2hp more and still be lighter. I just don't see it. I use a 661c for milling and I like it but was thinking about getting one of these for show because they look neat.

Kyle Corry he asked my opinion and now you he has yours. milling is a different animal. weight matters much less when milling. uses a larger chain, has a better oiler. etc etc

@@kylecorry9537 there is a difference in torque and rpm and HP. The 070 has incredible torque.

OTAlucard yeah man, it is the type bearings that are used in the 070 and 090 that allow that to occur. So that play is totally normal and expected.

i lover mine use ye chiny carb still just 25:1 oil mix i strongly suggest n upgraded needle bearing to oem asap as i read it may just need it but who knows the 66mm 090 piston n cylinder kit is 50 buck on farmertec hutzleyy web site

Victor Gonzalez Huztl does not sell the bar/chains for this. it uses a special large mount 3002. Stihl does not sell one that works unless you re-drill the holes. The bar on my Huztl saw is cannon csb-s2-36-L and the chain is .404 / .63 / 111 links. the links change depending on bar.

robin beard call Cannon bar customer service in Canada and give them the bar # or tell them it's s 070 and they can help you find it. it took me a few weeks but I got mine, they were very helpful and you will be very pleased with the bar. you can also call ap's bar shop in Asheville NC 828 676 2393 open on Saturday too. I know they are out of the 36" but they might be willing to drill out a new Stihl bar for you. they can actually service bars. or know maybe other options. between the two you should be good. he sells square grind chain too. I know where I can put my hands on a new 36" stihl bar if you need one to drill out. cannons no drilling needed

I guess those old timers did not see the need. Stihl built that way. Me, I need my brake :-)
