I didn’t think I was going to like the finished chest (except the top) but I do. It’s beautiful. The final addition of wax really made it all pop. You have a good sense of your art.

I love how this piece turned out, the dark wax gave it an earthy feel. The piece itself was a great score! Working on my first piece in years and there really is a lot of work that goes into restyling and i'm still working on fixing the veneer! Great choice in soothing music, made the video flow along with your calm approach.

We have just come out of 7 months of very harsh Lockdown were we couldn't travel more then 5km (3 miles) from our home. And curfew 8 p.m. But we still have to wear our masks in public areas.

I found myself so captivated because: 1) I’ve never used a paint spray gun 2) I’ve never seen Annie Sloan used in a paint spray gun 3) when you started applying that dark wax, it scared me (in the best way!) and seeing it come off with the baby wipe was such a good trick! It’s fun to step out of the box and tackle a different look/technique. I am in my happy place turning furniture into old world. Well I thought of you while working on my latest piece. Hello from Australia! I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and you never cease to amaze me with your competence and the pride that you take in your work. I’ve been a furniture flipper for a number of years but I love watching how others create something special and beautiful out of an old, sometimes outdated piece of furniture. I love how this piece was again transformed into a thing of beauty. I also love the difference a bit of dark wax can bring and now I’m going to try that on one of my pieces. I don’t normally use brushes, I spray paint, but you’ve inspired me to do things a little differently this year. Congratulations on your channel, it’s truly inspirational, even to someone who is also in the industry. 😀👍
