Need some organization in your entryway? This fast project creates an instant organization center, without drilling holes in the wall or spending a ton of money! Free plans with shopping list and cut list here: ana-white.com/...
I love that you've found a way to keep content coming when Ana needs a break or is working on a longer project. The design style doesn't change, it's just presented slightly differently and with a different person operating the tools.
Just lean the normal 2x4 against the wall in the position you want it in, then hold a ruler against the side of it so it's touching the wall, then trace along the opposite side of the ruler. Clamp the two 2x4's together and cut them both at once. Easy as pie.
@@jimthesoundman8641 I love your idea for scribing the vertical cut, and then you could scribe the horizontal bottom cut with the same ruler, resting the ruler on the floor alongside the bottom of the board - no measuring angles at all, and a custom fit in case the house itself is out of square!
Hello again Mrs White, You an your team always amazing me with you all's projects, what an amazing piece for thous BZ kids an there back packs 👍👌🙂 💙 I love all your projects & Builds, May all you continue to be blessed in all U do an receive in Jesus holy name Aman 🙏.
So need one of these and a person with power tools and skills. It's not ever going to be me; I broke my finger repositioning myself in bed last night.😪
It's not really intended to sit on, the bottom portion is more for extra shoe storage, or to set stuff on. If it was attached directly to the studs in the wall, it would be sturdy enough for a small bench too.
I collect ballcaps, over 60, how about doing something similar to hang my hats on? I greatly appreciate your videos, your plans, and your furniture case designer. All the best to you and family.
Like the project a lot but not really a fan of this format of video for carpentry projects, especially. It’s a little rough on my eyes and ears. If you want a vote, i vote for the verbal instructions instead of a montage and graphics. Thanks!
Wow, at first I thought that you had changed your hair color. Either way, this is a nice little project that would seem to fit and be useful in any kid's room.
Awesome concept! Does cause my mathematical mind to bring up a couple of questions. 🤔 1. Won't there be a "tip over" factor to be concerned about? 2. Wouldn't the base of the legs need an angle cut? 3. Wouldn't it be better to make the rungs perpendicular to the floor, not the legs? I might be off base, but curious minds want to know this stuff 😉
There is a 10 degree angle at the base and the top cut allows it to sit flat against the wall. According to my friend it's holding 3 heavy backpacks, jackets and lunchboxes with no issues. Thank you for watching!
Ok so I'm building something like this but alot taller, how to you measure out where to cut the top angle? I'm planning to build one the full height of the 2x6.
I love your style. But I miss your voice of what to do and what to watch out for. It was like you were a coach and made it sound so easy. I miss the view of Alaska life.
