You put two sticks for the handle like you do for most tools and then you put two pieces of hard material in the upper corners to form a sort of "Y" shape. (Same as the pickaxe minus the central piece at the top.)

Kaalus , know is late , but make a world spawming structure: abandoned houses . They are most destroyed , mae by cobblestone and wood , and a lot of ivies on them , with very few not broken windows , and a secret cellar with some strange messages... it would be awesome ! But make it spawm very hard , ok ?
Awesome Kaalus, now that you finished farming additions, could you try to work on making pistons? For more complex electrical creations? Like for hidden doors or even traps? If you do want to work that then aside the piston make sticky pistons wich would make the block attached to it always stay stuck to it? For hidden doors? And normal pistons for pushing blocks, could be used for maybe to stop water flows/ lava flows. If you do add these, we will be so happy
Another suggestion (hopefully you read these). I see you have added a boat :D is it possible to add different kinds of boats like bigger boats? And if muliplayer is going to be in the game multiple people able to be in the same boat depending on the size.
should be set up too with villagers of course that you can trade crops with for ingots or another type of currency or the other way around, There are so any possibilities with this game.
Check the recipaedia, that's under the help menu, and if that doesn't work it's two pieces of whatever strength material in the top two corners and then sticks in the normal place for a pick axe or spade.
This is more like 100%. In real life, I can till a garden, walk all over it, and I can still plant things and have them grow. Not to mention that once things are growing, realistically you are not going to step on them when you weed or water them. My point is, it is bad enough to have to deal with on a PC, it would drive me insane to have to keep fixing the soil on a touch device. Like I say, Minecraft worked this out long ago, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Walking on soil and having a chance of it turning back to dirt was a terrible gameplay mechanic in MC that no one really liked, so I don't see it being happily accepted here either, but, then again, I might be wrong.

Yeah that was a good question if we put torch or light bulbs near the rye, is it gonna grow? And Kaalus can u make multiplayer mode in this coming update or the next one?
Do you need natural light or could you use bulbs or torches. I ask because I would love an underground farm and it could be a stepping stone for more variety of plants that can only grow certain places.(mushrooms nudge nudge, wink wink)

I love the farming. Only problem is wolves keep trampling my wheat fields. Forever stalked by wolves...I'm on a friggin island how do they get here? Lol
