We have been in Ksamil 3 times now ,and it’s amazing place.Beaches with clear waters and so many beaches .You can drive to different beach every day. Locals are amazing people. What amazing restaurants with Korali restorant on top of my list for the food ,service and the view,and the mussels...OMG.... You will never get bored in ksamil and is so much to explore. Tip:For the best of Ksamil and Albania you need a car

Butrint was created from Helenus son of Priam king of Troy, Neoptolemus son of the Pelasgian hero of Troy Achilles (the ancient writer Homer, referred to Achilles in his Iliad Poem as Pelasgian) and Andromaka, wife of Hektor, also son of Priam king of Troy. Before them was a territory of Epir populated from many Illyrian-pelasgian tribes such as Chaonians ancestor of south Albanians.The Troyans were Dardans, Illyrian-Pelasgian tribe, which are directly ancestor of Kosovo-Albanians. Their territory was where Kosovo is today. The first king of Troy was from the Dardanian tribe, that`s way the connection between Dardanians and Troyans was natural. So please don`t listen to Erjan, because he told an history who has many mistakes. P.s. The connection between Troyans and Dardans is told by Homer in his Poem "Iliad': "The Dardanians were led by brave Aeneas, whom the fair Aphrodite, a goddess bedded with a mortal man, bore to Anchises in the mountains of Ida. He was not alone, for with him were the two sons of Antenor, Archilochus and Acamas, both skilled in all the arts of war."

I think those mussels have travelled all way to from ottoman era. Edited. But your companion is not at the right level to explain the history The ottomans came to illyria because they found development and culture which the destroyed. Greece did not exist as a state until 1821. Thus the gods were illyrian and Pelasgian. Thank you again David.
Agree, but I would like to add that not only Greece never existed as a state and as an ethnicity, but the majority of population are Albanians who were forced to learn and speak only Koine ( the modern technical language of Greece).

We went at the same restaurant End of July 2019 but our experience was nothing like that.We went 130pm but restaurant was not busy at all.2 children and 2 adults.67.5 dollar for lunch with no alcohol.The price is average for the area but poor quality.Our food was not like David’s at all To the restaurant owner if you read this:Treat all customers the same. This is the only restaurant in the area that didn’t meet our expectations

Honestly I am asking is this guy really doing a travel video like he did in India or is it a propaganda sales kind video. In Albania food is cheap and really good. He does not to promote Albania as albanian that live everywhere come back to it as tourists. I worry if too many tourists come as the pristine beautiful places will be destroyed.
