Farming Simulator 17 Tutorial | Grass Fields 

I literally just started the farming simulator craze and I have to say that your tutorials have saved my life and made it 100% more enjoyable. I know it must take hours of patience to learn everything but to be able to watch your tutorials makes it so much more playable. Thank you a million times over and thank you =)

There's an easter egg on that field, if you plant all of field 14 in grass and let it grow to full length, the wildflowers will form the pattern of an American flag.

The ability to have a hired worker for mowing is really neat, didn't know that. Thank you. Initially I liked the FS15 grass better. I used it to make irregular shaped fields square, because hired workers get confused and don't finish the field. I've tried to do the same thing now and when cultivating they destroy the sown grass. I used the field removal tool now, but the grass never grows back. While in FS15 The parts I turned to grass could still be mown. Now I know how it works I refrain from buying an irregular shaped field

in farming sim 19 when I cut natural grass fields whats the next step, for instance the map says it needs lime, so my question is do I need to tend to the grass fields in fs19 like lime and fert so I get the max crop or just let it grow?

I tried to do mixed rations for cows to make the "power food" by using a bail of grass I cut from the lawn, not a field, and the mixer wouldn't take it...any ideas? Do you have to use "field grown" grass instead of a lawn? Thanks

Do you have any suggestions of when the grass should be mowed in FS17? Will it show up in the Harvest screen showing if it is needing to be mowed or not? Thanks

Hi Moose, I am planting grass on my fields and my worker just does two rows and stops any idea why? I am using the original seeder you get in the game. Another thing is I have the fertilizer with the seeder and my wrapping bales are getting $300 more. Not sure how to plant with no fertilizer. Thanks love the channel

if you fertilize the field when it is grass does it give you more yield ?

I used the "create new field" option with a plow to expand a field. But when I plant the new area back with grass and cultivate the original field, it cultivates right over the grass I just planted. Do I need to use a certain tool to return the "new field" area back to unused area?

Hi totally off topic question but I am trying to farm field 24 as a mission for beets. I can harvest but I have problem as no trailer is there to unload. I then brought my large tractor trailer and it will not fill it. Do I have to rent a semi and trailer? And if so where do I dump the beets? Thanks for your help and your videos are great. Dave.

Hey, I sound like a noob, but like the sheep tutorial, do you just mow the grass then pick it up? And if you do, what do use? Ps. Love your videos and tutorial.

I know this is an older video, but I have been having a problem with trying to grow grass on field 11 by the sheep. I planted the 1st time and said it was growing. After awhile itll say it has been harvested (under the growth map). I replanted again just to see and it happened again. I believe it happens around 6-12hrs after planting. Just wondering if anyone else has been having this problem.

It was my understanding that if you fertilized grass you would get a heaver crop, I guess that was a lie?? There is one heck of a lot of grass around these already plowed grain fields for no reason can a guy plow that to increase the field size. Thanks

Thing is, if you use grass seeds to edge out the fields, it's not permanent, therefore you can reseed the edged fields into something else. There's a roller that can delete any uneven field, but that's permanent and you need to plow it over to get it back. I preferred the FS15 version where a grassed out edges will be permanent than using the roller. Hopefully Giants can decide to bring that version back to FS17, if not, allow the roller to give us grass that can not be seeded over, if possible.
