I've been a dairy farmer for over 40 years. Excellent tutorial and just a couple pointers. The ridge marker on the seeder marks where the center-line of the seeder should travel on the next pass in order to cover right up to the edge of the last pass. Also, I've always used the roller after the seeder. Not only does it press the small stones back into the now soft soil but it compresses the coil over the seeds avoiding having them dislodged by bird and mice or sometimes even wind. With rolling after the seeder it's not quite as serious if you overlap or miss small spots due to not being able to see the ridge pattern you're making vs. the seeders ridge pattern. Great video. Keep it up.

Pro tip if you don’t have a ridge marker. Try rolling cross ways or at an angle and than plant straight on with the field. Not sure if that would help

What I found out about the stones reappearing and not being picked up by the stone picker when you can clearly see them is, the area needs to cultivated again, then the stones will be picked up by the stone picker when you pass over them a second time.

IS it necessary to do the fields in a stright line all the time? It take a lot of time to do a 3-4 point turn at the end of the field every time. I usually do i like a Zamboni. With that i do all the edges first and then go straight down the middle. After that i turn at the edges and never have to do use reverse... Find it to go alot quicker... Is really plowing necessary? i just cultivated

you probably know this by now but the roller pushes down the small stones which will be shown as yellow dots on the map and orange and red dots need to be picked

Little tip. If you create your own fields. If you have that turned on and you use AI. They will also give you an uneeded plot.

The smaller stone pickers work for me but it seems i had to go 4mph or slower for it to he effective

Does the plowing work on a 3 harvest cycle too? Or does it need to be done for every cycle?

If you wanna get the most outta your yield, then yes, you would need to do these steps every time. I still do and no lie, I get almost 100% yield every single time.

U can only pick up stones after cultivating. After sowing you cannot pick them up... Really annoying
