I’ve learned 2 things about this feeder. 1) Whatever you put in (hay, straw, silage) cannot be removed. 2) The feeder only accepts loose items, no bales.
@@Seantubes Unfortunately, I don’t know of anything right now in-game that will chop silage bales. I’ve been putting my bales into a mixer for TMR. This means the robot won’t be used as often. Haven’t had much luck with silos lately. I made a batch recently, then sold off my silo. UPDATE: I’m using the Faresin mixer wagon. You can put wrapped silage bales into it and either use it for TMR or just dump the bales (after mixing) into your silage space for the robot.
i notice that my other barn without robots are producing milk, but my robot barn is not? now i never knew that the curtains will be down when the robot is at work, i never seen that. Do you do that manually?
maybe you just answer the question i had, like why are all my cows producing milk, but the cows from the robot barn are not producing milk, now i have to try to add the minerals and see if that will help me out. thank you bro. And all my cows are at the age of producing
Mine wouldn't open either. It wants a lot of land on in front of the bays to be flat. Enough to line a trailer up and back in with the various feeds. When I placed my first farm down it pulled the land up and left a steep hill. As soon as I sold it off, moved it back on the plot it was fine. If you are in Career mode, save before you place it. If you are on a server. Be prepared to cheat in the money to replace it a few times.
@@helmerland8261 Use a mixer, I use a Faresin PF 2.24 Plus. Dump the Silage bales into it then drive the trailer next to the bay and it will let you overload it
I slept after having all 4 ingredients, Mineral Feed, Straw, Silage, and Hay and mine took off. Robot is going around and all 12 cows are 100% healthy producing milk
