I hope you have since then seen the series-ending-movie : "The Peacekeeper Wars" - Great ending even though nobody wanted it to end. Just like Star Gate Universe, leave us hanging after 2 seasons !!
This video makes me a little bit sad every time I watch it. Such a great show in many ways and I'm really glad that they at least got to end the show on a high note. Long live FarScape!
I watched it as a kid - watching it again now and it's honestly a very close second to The Wire as my favourite TV show of all time (and trust me, I watch an unhealthy amount of TV).
Holy heck!!!!!!!!! I remember watching this as a kid... I really loved this show! The S&M gimp looking guy was my favourite... And the fella/alien built into the ship. I thought the ship blew up in the end?
As much as I loved Farscape, Peacekeeper wars wrapped it up. Farscape was indeed amazing though, it ignited the little spark of insanity inside of me into a raging flame of crazy! AND I LOVE IT!
@JBRewind - Peacekeepers, Scarrans and specifically Scorpius no longer chasing Crichton, (no more wormholes). - Last scene of PKW seems to indicate Crichton plans on staying "out there". - Peacekeepers and Scarrans made peace with each other. - Sikozu dead(?) & D'Argo dead. - Rygel reclaiming his throne. And Chiana gone with him. Don't get me wrong, I'd like it if they did continue it, but if they did, many of our fav characters wouldn't be there, and many new ones in their stead.
@Dalbert342 I don't know, but for me the computer-in-the-mind thing that is the Intersect is quite clearly science fiction. Granted, the series isn't full-on sci-fi, but it does have very clear science fictions ideas in it which can't be likened to the hologram in Bones, or the ready-whilst -you-wait DNA scan in CSI. Because at least Hologram technology could be enabled right now. Ditto for the DNA scans in CSI. Just not in exactly the same way as portrayed in the series.
@Trawn1984 You are so true!!!! 1812 OVERTURE AND FARSCAPE ARE TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!! It really is a masterpiece, especially in Seasons 2-3. And Episodes 1 and 7 from Season 4. fINE, THE WHOLE SHOW ROCKS!!!!
Is there any way to find the electronic/techno/moog (or whatever you'd like to call it) version of the 1812 Overture presented on the Season 4 opener of Farscape? I've been looking far and wide with no luck.
i wish it wasn't a science fiction show. I wish it was real and i wish john crichton with all his friends would come through a warmhole back to earth to pick me up. I would give everything to be with them. Because i somehow know that farscape is real and all the events that happened are real and because i know i don't belong to that planet and to this life. SO PLEASE JOHN AND AERYN TAKE ME WITH YOU FAR AWAY FROM THAT LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@StarbucksAwesome Peacekeeper Wars wrapped everything up too nicely for anytihng to come after it. Anything now would cheapen it. Besides once you unleash a universe destroying weapon everything else is anti climactic.
