Rocknlive Yea, but if it was the original crew just years later, it would be AWESOME !!! Just think how the show would look today with all the improvements to CGI and much better filming options available..
Farscape and Babylon 5 , in that order for this old (70 ) lady who devoured her Dads science fiction library books since age 10 . So much " space" in my head but Farscape is top . Thanks guys for so much sheer geeky joy .
Ben Browder is right when he talked about every single relationship on the show being special, not just John and Aeryn. One of the greatest joys of my young tv watching experience was watching this group of become friends and then family.
Just started this show. Never watched it back when it aired but I'm glad I didn't since it's really hitting the Sci Fi itch I'm having right now. Even after just two episodes I can tell a lot of love was poured into this project from all angles.
Claudia, as usual, is STILL stunningly beautiful, wow. I think I may prefer the jet black hair but that may be more about nostalgia about the show and less about her current look.
It’s a shame this show didn’t last longer. It is and always will be the best show ever. This is a great reunion/ interview that really gets to the heart of the show and its characters. Thank you to all the people involved that created a show that will forever remain in my heart. And thank you to the one who shared this. Krista2882.
One my favorite common themes in Farscape was the lesson: Keeping enemies makes one weaker, but offering friendship to one’s enemies makes one stronger.
The best sience fiction series in history in my opinion. I've found it in 2024 on youtube live stream channel and it's awesome. It was hard to belive that it's from 1999! Amazing. You made sci fi series better for all of us. Thank you!
That must have been incredible to see the cast all together again . Farscape is a masterpiece of science fiction. I still watch episodes and I would really love to see them revisit that world .
Got into that show late...during the last two Season....but loved it...one of the Best Sci-fy shows ever made...I use to work 2 to 10, after i got off, on Friday night i would buy a pint of Bluebell, order a pizza and watch Farscape...ah Memories
I just do it. and i am amazed how far farscape was ahead of its time: the artfull customes and designs are insane and i love that characters re not black and white
Oh wow. This brings back memories of watching this when this was originally on, when I was young, on Friday nights on the SciFi channel!! Such nostalgia. I loved and still love this show. Amazing cast of characters. Thank you one and all ❤❤❤
I watched Farscape from day one it was on SciFi channel (now SyFy) in the U.S. After about 5 episodes I was totally hooked. My two favorite scenes were when Crichton is all dressed up to go kill T'raltixx (Crackers Don't Matter episode) and Aeryn just states "We're all going to die" in a deadpan way. The other is when John is switched in to Aeryn's body (Out of Their Minds episode) and he checks him/herself out and gets busted by Aeryn (who is switched into someone else's body). Absolutely funny. And anytime it was Crichton and "Harvey" (Scorpius memory implant) things always got crazy and funny.
Ben Browder, thank you for sporting those black leather pants soooooo well We couldn't get enough. So pleased to see you all so well kept and enthusiastic about your contribution to Sci Fi and the most relevant and creative show I've ever been addicted to. Cheers!
For some reason I never watched Farscape when it premiered. I just started watching on it Comet. The first few episodes I couldn't see Ben and Claudia beyond there Stargate characters (whom I loved). That quickly melted away. I am loving this quirky fantastic show!!
Thank you so much for this! I have loved this show when I started high school and have loved it since!!!! I haven't watched the series in a while and I'm floooooored how beautiful this show still looks even today! Thank you for posting this!! Scaper For Life!!!
Big fan of the show! I wanna say I especially remember Pa'u Zotoh Zhaan and Captain Crais as favorites. And I loved Moya! And of course the Crichton Aeryn thing was fantastic!
Everything about this show makes me feel sad that I'm not living there with Moya and the crew. Such a wonderful show and characters that felt like family. More heart and feelings that I can express on how I felt about everyone in this. I LOVE Farscape and will do for the rest of my days.
I think i could rewatch Farscape until I die cause it never gets old. I ve never rewatched any old sci fi show beyond this one. Farscape has always been weird and smart, and as Ben said, full of heart and passion. It ll never gets old, because it has never tried to fit in any standards in sci fi or fantasy. It just told a real story about characters and if you love characters, you have to love Farscape. And i can understand why people would highly dislike it or miss the meaning or the beauty of it. Thats how you recognize great, engaged, and passionnate work imo. It inspires strong feelings and reactions And it had something more, harder to describe, that you could feel underneath, that made it special. A flavor, a signature, unique.
Was so funny watching the lead player just let loose. I watched Star Trek back in the 60s on my parients black and white tv but I gotta say this series was the best sci fi I've ever seen👍
I just finished binging the show, and I expected a stylish, intelligent, and creative show, but I did not expect so much humanity, and such wonderful performances. The emotional moments were not corny gimmicks for dramatic effect. Everything was grounded in real danger, real struggle, and real character flaws, which made the strengths of the characters stand out. Everyone was flashed out. One day you admire them, the next you want to vacuum them into space. Just like family. Gigi mustve taken shrooms to come up with that alien character's behavior, like she had extra senses and her center of gravity was different. I wish everyone had Gigi's imagination. But what really blew me away was Ben Browder's performance. I saw a clip and thought he would be the wise-cracking jock who hit monitors to fix them, and had the occasional crying scene. But that first season had him tortured, out-gunned, and practically prey the whole time. Yet he retained his motality, became the heart of the show, and was actually intelligent and adaptive. He embodied the best of American characteristics stripped down. And that's pretty much Ben Browder the person. Even in interviews, he shows so much passion and attentiveness to what others are saying. This reflected in his performance. He embodied his character so well, which included the universe he inhabited and the characters he interracted with. This is so important for the lead. As talented as wveryone was, I feel like Ben Browder gave everyone the opportunity to shine and even improved their performance.
This show first aired almost 2 years before i was born and its one of my favorite shows. Which is saying something considering ive never really been too into any of the other space themed shows like star trek/wars. I havnt really tried watching those since i was a kid tho.
Just watched the show again for the 3rd time all the way through. I would love a new show in the same universe. Bring back the cast to get it started. Show could be based off of johns son Dargo
Yes the very end of latp was incredibly hot and facinating . And it was film quality work for sure . Well done . Also i did love d argo and chianna as a couple they were beatiful
