Babylon 5 brought back the epic-scale storytelling, Stargate SG-1 brought back the science, and Farscape brought back the *fun* to science fiction series on TV.
One of my favorite things about the show. He goes from a normal astronaut who's completely powerless and out of his element in every conceivable fashion to becoming one of the most legendary figures in the Uncharted Territories, a man who's known for destroying a Scarran Dreadnought with a star, committing nuclear terrorism, and singlehandedly altering the course of multiple type 2 alien civilizations.
I'm not sure why, precisely, the Algorithm decided to put this in my feed, but I sure as hezmana ain't complaining. I got legit chills from that. Gods, if there were one show I could pick to get a sequel (not a reboot) series, it's be Farscape. If he's even half the trouble magnet his parents were, D'Argo "Deke" Sun-Crichton story as got to have enough tales to pact a few seasons.
I was quite surprised when I checked the view count the morning after posting and saw it'd already blazed past 1k views. That's something my usual AMVs hardly ever do. No idea why it chose this video in particular. Deke's story post- PKW would have been incredible, absolutely agreed.
