Light doesn't exist without darkness, and vice-versa, you can ship them, in the "bringers" universe, these two seem to have a deep conection, and Riven is the best partner for Yasuo in the original lore

Honestly yeah. I literally never noticed. I though it would be like Aatrox voice lines but they're trying to bring the other to their side, not tear them down.
Light or Dark. Good or Bad. Innocent or Guilty. This is what life is. No matter what side you choose, there's always a fight between them. We can choose the path but we also can live with it and we will know what kind of path we have in the future.
All of them are human made tho, maybe you can make an argument for light and dark, but still. We saw nature in a very simplified 2 way way, thus jing jang and things like these were born. It's old as humanity.

@@forcecaptainoverlordsuprem2964 in the event the path with more player support won (basically chose who to support and do event missions which yasuo got the majority thats why the people who participated got an icon just like god king darius) , afterwars riot published 2 short stories 1 for yasuo which is supposedly the canon one and few weeks later they published the riven one as a "what if"

Riven represents absolute order. Though order is necessary for peace, growth, and understanding, blind faith within it only binds oneself to false ideals, forever in denial about the truth that there can never be absolute order. Chaos is necessary to balance the binding and blinding nature of the pursuit for order. Yasuo should represents absolute chaos. Though chaos is necessary for freedom and the rejection of imposed control, blindly allowing chaos to roam will only cause destruction and pain for both the people around an individual and the individual. Order is necessary to reign in the destruction that absolute chaos creates in its wake.
