I don't understand people who dislike your videos. You are like God's gift to us. You are soooo talented. Thank you. Love all the way from South Africa. ❤💙
My friend and I watch and wait for your videos every week, like going to church to listen to the priest! There aren't many places here where you can learn the things that you know and teach, our only option is to become a self-taught person. I'm really grateful for what you teach, because you are someone who cares about the industry. Greetings from El Salvador!
I’m drawing one of my characters wearing a Valentino dress and I’m so happy I found your video. I was about to sit there and draw every little bead but your video is a life saver! Thank you so much.
I have the skills of drawing fashion but with your tutorials I have learned and enhanced my skills a lot. Thank you for that , you are a very nice person for sharing your knowledge.
I’m a silversmith and an accessories design major and your videos are so helpful for practicing the foundations as I build my own style. I’m sure jewelry is in the queue and I’m READY for that but will you eventually do metal hardware for things like belts, bags, shoes and sunglasses? It would be great to see them on a croquis but also details like buttons, buckles and zippers. That would still be super helpful for jewelry renderings. Would you ever maybe post a poll of upcoming topics and let your subscribers vote? Thanks for this whole channel
Hi Zoey, thanks for another fantastic video! Can you please share what type of white marker you used for the hilight? was it opaque or more of a 'lift the color' method? Thank you! :)
It's a Faber-Castell PITT marker and it's semi-opaque. It doesn't lift color. It's milky and sits on top of the paper but isn't completely opaque. Maybe if you let it dry and do another layer or 2.
Please do a jewelry tutorial and can u do a video on how to make your own fashion label and also did you do a video on how you put clothes on the finished fashion figures
Jewelry tutorial is in the queue. I have a Drawing Clothes on Bodies playlist you should check out. How to make your own fashion label is too much for one video but you should check out the book recommendations I make on this subject in my Visual Playlist: Fashion Books video.
I just had a thought. My niece loves fashion and with her being young (10) she hasn't developed her drawing skills and so on. I've have looked everywhere for body figures to then design (for my niece) clothes on top of. Now I'm not suggesting a coloring book but have you considered maybe self publishing through Amazon a bunch of different body forms (not great with the lingo) to design over the body and or techniques included for helping the young mind learn how to do these things. What I've run into looking for these books for her is a lack of room blank pages with line work of figures in different angles (that can be copied or traced). I can barely understand what I'm saying I hope you get what I am trying to convey.
You mean a fashion figures template book? Like the one I'm working on right now? hahaha The goal is to have it available as a PDF download in my etsy shop by May 1.
Hey I have a thought regarding subscriber requests; since it's at 13 months (it's kinda of a compliment knowing it's that far out right! I'd see it that way anyways), would you mull over the idea maybe doing a subscriber vote say every 4th video knocking the list down but keeping content still within a majority requested content? I apologize if I am overstepping and have nothing to do specifically with fashion however I do have interests in the trends from what people want/need to learn more about to why/timing. I'm a nerd I know but again I'm sorry if this is too forward to ask. Take care. :)
Zoe Hong awesome, I'm glad you approve! I think we all benefit, the subbies, the requester and even your middle aged non designer fashionistas like me! Hopefully you benefit as well!!! Take care!
I do sometimes think about getting one of those desk lamps with a magnifying glass so I can do miniature paintings. I'm pretty sure I would go back and forth between enjoying myself and wanting to kill something.
miniature paintings can be incredibly beautiful...and they can be practical because you can carry them around more easily:) but I guess that the down side is that you need a magnified glass to look at them:).
When i saw ur video, i like "yahh, i can do this" n i survive on sketching but when colour time. I lost Huhuhu i dont hv many maker so i cant practice :"))) Sorry, my bad eng.
