Raja’s look was UNBELIEVABLE. One of the greatest looks in rpdr history imo, visually gorgeous, a sense of humour, fun gender bending take on the royalty prompt, as well as amazing and accurate but still creative references to historical fashion. What are they on??

Raja's look was an absolute shoot. The unconventional silhouette (not the same old skin tight, thin corset pin up look that some girls rely on all the time), the details, the references... she's the blueprint. She can sweep any of the new fashion girls (including violet) in any category any day.

The robbery of it all, Raja's look was absolutely fantastic there was nothing bad about her outfit. It's an absolute toot if not a shoot for me

The thing with VC booting Raja...VC knows fashion, especially 20th century fashion. But she doesn't understand historical references. Raja's style choices go beyond hemlines and a cinched waist. It's a bit more intellectual and complicated than VC is used to. Though she didn't seem to know that Shea's gown was Valentino couture so maybe she doesn't know THAT much fashion, either.

Violet booting both of Raja’s looks from ep 1 & 2 is BOLD. The CHOICES were choiced.

I love Violet, I've paid to see her live, she's my favourite contestant but I will say, her cultural repertoire is actual rather limited though she seems to want to make the opposite impression. I first noticed this when she was interviewed after a Prada show and said she saw a lot of John Willie and fetishy influences (when really I don't think John Willie was even a speck of dust in Miuccia's mind designing the collection). It shows here as well, not recognising Raja's as a rather obvious and strikingly accurate recreation of the Louis XIV silhouette, but noting that Trinity's look is Erté-esque. It's fine she has the things she likes, but it's getting obvious she isn't the cultured fashion historian many people seem to make her out to be.

Gottmik went to fashion school and knows a lot about fashion, I’d like to see that more instead of her just agreeing because she has to walk on egg shells. If you’re so scared of your friend that you have to agree with everything they say, get new friends.

Their taste in fashion is very classist, and it overlooks the fact that drag isn't supposed to be high fashion. Drag is supposed to be conceptual and unfortunately, they missed the references.

I love, love that Raja is dressed referencing a baroque male this time, since she did Marie Antoinette/BAroque woman back in season 3. The hair is so iconic, just look at pirates of the caribbean or paintings of Charles the second, George the first and second etc. They wore heels like that with thight pants, it's just perfect. Shame they missed out on that but I guess Violet is known for being critical of things based on her taste (which is totally valid, just because something is well thought of doesn't mean you need to like it)

Coming back a year later after watching Raja say in an interview that she LIVED for these two being cunty is a much more fun and less serious experience. Raja is my #1 queen and Violet is way up there too! Gottmik actually disagreed with a lot of what Violet said in this episode and I love hyper critical bitchy mean girls persona and Violet does it so well and it is so much funnier when Gottmik is being sweet and gets shocked and stuff. When Shea came out I literally GASPED. The African reference made me fall In love with her all over again. An absolute SHOOT.

I think, in this context, Gottmik and Violet do not work very well together. They have extremely similar opinions and seems like Gottmik encourages Violet to be meaner. A more successful combination would be someone with different opinions and tastes to Violet’s who is also nicer. For example, in the Pit Stop, her harsh critiques were contrasted with Trixie/Monet’s “nicer” opinions and it worked perfectly well.

I really do like Violet. Not taking her success away. But she really does have a narrow minded way of critiquing. She’s not open to any fashion, but her own. If it doesn’t fit a skinny queen aesthetic, or shows skin, she doesn’t want it. And regardless of how she means it, they just both sound like 2 mean girls, just for the sake of being mean and not adding any necessary POV. I’ve always was doubtful of this duo for this series, because there’s no balance at all.

I love Raja's style. She seems able to do anything stylish, without needing to ask a designer or have a lot of money.

I blame the producers. I’m sure they saw the view counts of Violet’s pitstops and told these two to “bring that energy”. They were going in that direction but needed a test audience, crossing my fingers that they get it together for the next episode. Violet is a legendary fashion queen, I think she just needs some direction cuz it just feels like WOW is banking on this duo without really fleshing out the dynamic and how it reads. It also double down on the King Louis reference - Notice her hair is shaped like elephant ears. Elephants are considered important cultural symbols in Indonesia. Royalty also ride on elephants. - The crown also looks like an elephant’s head. I love Violet but her comments snub the absolute brilliance of Raja’s runway. Raja’s runway is a heteroglossia. One must be keen in understanding all the references she ‘s making.

After seeing the first 7 minutes of this fashion photo review I'm not certain these two should be hosting this show. They seem to miss references and are kind of classist with their critiques. Drag is art and pushes the boundaries of fashion. Violet and Gottmik of all queens should know better.

I think us drag race fans could chill a bit and make some room for queens to give honest opinions without giving them hate for expressing it, the reason later seasons are getting less interesting in the workroom is cuz queens are rightfully afraid to express their opinions.

The silver lining is that the lack of Raja on FPR shows how important Raja is in making this after show great.
