The best thing about Geneva's look was the way she did the reveal. But neither look was dragged up enough for me. The toots and boots this episode fell perfectly in line with my thoughts which almost never happens. 😂

Honestly, some of these runways were a bit underwhelming in comparison to the first premiere, yet I am still super excited to see the first episode jitters on the runway disappear in the coming weeks, I really like this cast! Team Mirage, Sapphira, Plane, Nymphia, Morphine

I thought Geneva was going from Mariachi to Quinceañera - hence the purple and pink and the hair. Two distinct Mexican looks. But I agree a giant sombrero would have made the first look sing more. I was a little underwhelmed by these runways, but I see a lot of potential - so I'm excited to see what the dolls do next.

It's based on a regional style of dress, since we have traditional/folk clothing depending on the state you are from (I think she's from Chiapas, the dress is constructed in a similar way)

In pan's labyrinth, the hand eye reveal is impactful and terrifying because the monster appeared not to have eyes limiting it's ability to hunt. The impact is really lost on a costume that is already covered with eyes. I was still waiting for the reveal after that moment. It's also risky to reference something as visually stunning as that movie in a look, because it's so easy to fall short, even if the look is good.

Great Ruview ladies. Raja, you make a lovely ginger. Raven, exquisite as always. Fave look was pre-reveal Jane, least fave is a tie between Hershii and Megami. Totally agree about the premature reveals. No excitement or anticipation when they just drop a garment that fast. It’s like they’re trying to get the $20 before they earn it hooking.
