They aren't supposed to save "best drag" for the finale because the competition is over for most of them by that point. There's no confusion, they just don't have great drag this season.

I think its because it was still week 2. The queens wouldnt waste their number 1 best right now having nowhere to go up or set the bar so high that the judges would start with the ´´oh, you set the bar so high that now we expect you to delivery 120% every week``. So, I think most of them just picked from their top 5-3 looks or something that would stand out (like Aquaria did). I liked most of them like Raja and Rave because I really wasnt expecting them to really waste their very best this early. It was more like ´´the best representation of my drag``.
