I can keep my Timeless Vit C for almost a year by keeping the big bottle in the fridge and by dispensing a week or two worth of product in a small, dark 1/2 oz bottle that I purchased on Amazon.
When it used to come in the dropper bottle I would buy the 4 ounce one and keep it in the freezer and dispense some in the smaller bottle to keep in the fridge...but I don't think the plastic pump bottle would freeze well? I should have ordered it during the Mother's Day sale!
Great tip! I use 3 of the large ones per year….I do 4 pumps each morning. Maybe I’m using too much 🤷🏻♀️ I feel like it lasted longer in the original bottle.

Urea is in urine. The liver makes urea which is a waste product after breaking down proteins in the body. Which comes out in the urine. However, it has many health benefits. It promotes cell growth , it’s moisturizing , it’s soothes irritation. I guess we girls have to take the good with the bad! All though we have a lot of our own free urine, think about it! I don’t mean to be gross, I’m a retired nurse, and I like to research products. And I also think you are doing a great job❤ and I’m also learning a great deal from you, listening to you, helps me save money… thank you. Joanne.
Regarding Vit C. As an RN skin care freak and after several years of study, I use The Ordinary 100% Ascorbic Acid Powder. YES, POWDER. I can mix & match mixing with my water-based serums and van adjust how much I use. Within two weeks of use I noted marked overall brightening and more consistent control over two pesky sunspots. It maintains its stability longer in its powder form ane is a bit over $6.00 per jar...cheap enough to use on the backs of my hands and forearms. WHY AREN'T MORE PEOPLE RAVING ABOUT THIS? ❤️

So many options can definitley be overwhelming...what treatemnts are you considering? Yes, I am overdo for an update on my at home devices...I have to admit I've been a bit lazy lately...thus the super simple skin care routine. In a perfect world I would alternate NuFace and Red light each morning. Lately, I tend to use my Red Light more consistently than the NuFace and I DO think the Red Light is super good for the health of our skin. I have been using the Oralift for a few months and need to do a video on that. And I am recommitting to monthly micro needling since Claudia showed me how to do the stamping and gave me a Dr. Pen. (the video is on her channel) So far I'm not really interested any new home devises such as the fancy radio frequency or IPL home devises. As far as in office treatments...I'm not really interested in filler anymore, partly because of the price and the fear of it staying in my tissues too long...I would NEVER get under eye filler! MAYBE a touch in the lips to ease lip lines? Sculptra is very interesting to me as that is more of a collagen stimulant than a filler...I hope to do another Moxie and/or BBL in the fall....possbily a fraxel or halo? But again, super expensive and the down time sounds pretty rough. Anytime I do an in office procedure I will do a video on it (except Botox because I've already covered that pretty extensively). I def need to do an updated devise video so thanks for the reminder!

Tamara, your skin is just so pretty and you are a gorgeous woman! Unfortunately I have been unable to use the unstable form of Vitamin C (I've tried many, including Timeless and DRMTLGY). But I have been able to use Truth Treatments stable form of Vit C. Downside is cost, but I only purchase when they run a sale. I love how hydrating and non irritating it is on my very sensitive skin. Maelove fade away is a great alternative to those who may not want to use Hydroconone. I also recently have been using pipette mineral spf 50 no burning my eyes no tint dries down with no white cast, derived from sugarcane and has squalene. I really love it.
I have sensitivity issues with vitamin C and swear by Venn’s All-in-One concentrate which uses vitamin K, which similarly to C and have seen great results without any irritation. I also love growth favors for rosacea flareups, in case anyone reading this is in the same boat as me. Calecim and RevivSerums are my favorite, both of which are much cheaper than the cosmeceutical alternatives. Thanks for another great video! ✨
Hi Tamara I have incredibly dry skin with both rosacea and eczema and live in Scotland. Summer is in reality a fairly short season here (no matter what the calendar says lol), but in the warmest days/weeks the humidity is high. At that time I do have to adjust my skincare routine, as my normal thick buttery moisturiser won't sink in and some of my richer other layers also have to be adjusted. We're in Spring just now, but it hasn't warmed up enough that my rich moisturiser won't work however I have adjusted some of my other layers a little. I always use layers of skincare as my skin will soak up as much hydration as I can apply in normal circumstances. I also use a facial oil morning and night throughout the colder months. In the Summer I skip the facial oil and my toners/essences are more of a watery consistency. Instead of the rich buttery cream I switch to something a bit lighter, although not a gel/cream or lotion as they're still not enough moisture for my skin. A lighter weight cream is usually what I turn to. Sheet masks are a great boost of hydration in the Summer and are cooling/soothing on warm skin. I bought the Pacifica vegan ceramide cream to try a couple of months ago - it's nowhere near rich enough normally but will work for me in the warmer weeks just fine. Best wishes.

I love so many Aveeno products but my favorite is the Positively Radiant moisturizer, been using it for years. I started using the Merit serum a few months ago and can't believe how soft my skin is. Happy Sunday ! I love your new hat . I have a couple hats from San Diego Hat company that have a sunscreen in the fabric . They are soft and crochet like . I make my own Vit.C with ascorbic acid then after micro needling I use GinAmber Vit C serum that she makes specifically for using after micro needling . I use the Inkey list Tranexamic a few times a week in the Pm and the ordinary Azelaic acid a few times a week in the AM . I still like to use my prescription Tretinoin . I started using La Roche -posay Lipikar AP+ wash in the AM and my second cleanse at night . Have a great week Tamara

Good morning, Tamara! I mainly adjust to a lighter weight moisturizer in the summer. I'm intrigued by the Purito product that you recommend. I've heard you mention it before. Hi Mirtha! I'm not super loyal to any neck cream, though lately I have been enjoying DRMTLGY neck cream. Make sure to take your skin care down to your neck. For sun damage you might want to include a retinol serum or cream for your neck. Maelove makes a nice one called the Glow Maker...and it is much more gently than Tretinoin so most can tolerate it on the sensitive neck. Hope this helps...Happy Sunday!

The whole “anti aging” thing makes me uncomfortable and doesn’t accurately reflect my feelings…but it a prime search term so I feel the need to have it in the title for the “algorythm”…my hope is that the thumbnail helps communicate my goals more accurately. I should have addressed that more in the video…next time. Tints can be so challenging in SPFs…I wish more companies would make a range of tints..not as many as foundations, but a few options would be nice. Have a great week Sharon!
Hi Tamara, I didn't know to keep my face moist then add serum. Also I have red in my cheeks a lot so I have been staying away from the Vit C I have. It's getting old now (less clear) but I did try it again on my dark spots and it lightened the darkness, I just kept it away from my cheeks. I do have DRMTLGY BP spf45 and use it. I don't use as many "pumps" as you demonstrated, I will change that. So much good info as usual from you. I want to add that I use Avene mineral sunscreen and I love it, especially on my aging neck problems. I look terrible in most hats because I have a small face but I use a hat working in the yard. I will look at the products you recommend here. Thanks so much.
Hi Jane! If you have red cheeks, you might want to go with one of the derivatives instead of ascorbic acid. And I just made a correction in the description box...although many serums should be applied on damp skin, apparently Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C is best applied on dry skin for two reasons. It reduces the chances for irritation, and also because of the potential for PH issues. This is not an issue with the other Vitamin C derivatives. I just added a video to the description box by Dr. Jennie Liu where she is recommending the Vanicream Vitamin C serum for sensitive skin. It has THD, not Ascorbic Acid and sounds lovely! Vit c I feel doesn't make difference. I tried the vit c by timeless but it pilled. I use moisturizer and 1 percent Avene. But maybe I'll try dermatology. This weekend if they have sale. Now my dermatologist says retin a is our best bet. Ok

Hi Tamara, vit c should actually be put on dry skin not damp skin. Actual moisturizers can be put on damp skin but using vit c on damp skin can dilute the the ingredients and makes it lose its acidic nature. Thought you might like to know
I've always put serums on damp skin but oh my gosh your comment sent me down a rabbit hole and though there are a few differing opinions, most say to apply to dry skin not only to reduce irritation but because of the ph! Agency..... I have done their questions a few times, never have pictures been asked for and from what I can tell the have 3 products, so how is it personalized? I am afraid of giving them my credit card, the only reason they charge $5 is to get that credit card, then they start charging large amounts and sending products you did not order.....I've been down that road it's a nightmare. I want something I can just order. I used Avon Anew clinical absolute even, this product worked great, but now I can't find it.
I've been using either Curology or Agency for the past several years and have found them to be easy to deal with in terms of customizing my subscription. For instance, I am not interested in the cleanser and moisturizer that they included in my first order and I found it easy to customize my package without those two products. But if you aren't comfortable going that route... If you are looking for dark spot treatment you could go to a Derm and get a prescription for hydroquinone, or Tretinoin for sun damage/overall anti aging. Or look for OTC products containing Tranexamic Acid, Kojic Acid, Licorice Root, Retinal etc. I do enjoy the DRMTLGY skin care line, Avene also has a variety of excellent products.

She knows your skin and concerns and I am sure can help you with this question. Having said that, because hydroquinone can irritate the skin, my thought is that it might actually make redness worse? I do use my non hydroquinone formula all over my face without any problem.
I’ve been using the Vanicream C for a few months now but only every other day. I’m doing so well on it that I’m going to try two days on then a rest day. If my skin can handle that, I’ll try three days and a break, hopefully leading up to using it six days a week. If my skin will tolerate that, I’ll try titrating the Timeless 10% into my routine on the same schedule as I did the Vanicream. About putting it on dry skin…for my skin, that causes the most problems, especially stinging. That has never been an issue with the Vanicream by the way, but I still buffer beforehand with a cica serum to be cautious. I’ve suffered through too many problems with irritation to treat my skin aggressively in any way. I use one of the Cosrx cica creams at night after applying a retinol. It helps reduce reactions for me. I’d forgotten that the Purito cica cream contains niacinamide. I recently learned that applying niacinamide before a retinoid can reduce reactions. I have to be careful with niacinamide, though. It sometimes stings, which is the last thing I want to have happen prior to applying a retinoid. So, thank you for that reminder.
