I found the right niche kdp , but I found a problem that involves the following questions: = First, how can I see the content of the book beneficial to work on the same model, or at least get an idea of the book? = Second, how can I choose profitable and non-banned keywords to climb in the search engine? ? Thanks
Is the reverse wholesaling option really viable for a person with a completely new seller central account? I've been using this method for the last 3 months with no luck. Either being denied, asked for link to my Amazon storefront or references. Can you shed some light?
Very helpful and detailed video. Quick question, is wholesale possible for a business registered outside of the US and obtain EIN numbers & resale permits
AMAZING CONTENT! please keep doing more videos about wholeselling. You guys at JS are the absolute best at explaining things in a simple manner and most free content on RU-vid about Amazon FBA is on private label.
Do you suggest a prep center? Can I ship from wholeseller to FBA directly? I guess that’s if the supplier approves that I sell on Amazon first? Or would they discourage this method?
Hi guys, great video!! I'd like to know if it is viable to wholesale products, without creating your own brand, but with the FBA model. So that way I can have a quick jumpstart while taking in the benefits from the Prime badge. Also, would it be possible to do a video explaining how to actually join the Buybox? As in the steps to go live? I really appreciate all of your content!
Thanks for this video! Question..to optimize their listing, would you need to create your own listing from scratch (investing in hiring photographer and designer for the amazon ad etc)?
You would not need to create your own listing, instead you can use the current one with the existing reviews, and simply suggest changes to the listing inside Seller Central. If Amazon approves of your changes, those should go live on the listing as long as you're in the buy box!
Thank yo for your amazing video, I have a question. How can you improve other people listing? because you have not access in their listing and you can not add another listing for sam product, so how you tell us to improve other seller listing?
Hi, first of because of this video I did a one year subscription with JS.. love the software. I have a question: is Amazon ok with an invoice from ANY distributor for wholesale or is there a specific type they are fine with ? I don’t want to purchase in bulk to then realize Amazon doesn’t approve of that particular distributor. I hope this question makes sense and you can respond. Again thank you so much for this great information
Awesome information!! You mentioned 2 as being the minimum number of sellers on the filters page but left the max blank. Wouldn't you want there to be the least number of maximum sellers to have less competition? In a previous video, I think you mentioned putting 2 as the minimum and 5 being the maximum for lesser competition.
Thank you ❤We're glad you enjoyed this video! As for the max number of sellers, we intentionally left this blank to keep our results open, however, like we showed in the last Wholesale video, it's a good idea to include a max number to help narrow down the results. We like to start with a big list at first, then incorporate more filters as we weed down further. Hope that makes sense 🙂
Thank you for the great video! I love the value add approach to a listing and I have a technical question related with that. Do you just create a new listing with the same UPC or do you piggy back on the current listing and somehow create a cloned version with your improvements? Thank you
If you are selling Private label, you can create a new listing with your own UPC but if you are crating a generic product or reselling products that already exists on Amazon, you will be sharing the listing with the other sellers.
@@junglescout Thank you for responding. Yes, I understand that and my question is how can you improve a wholesale listing as per the video if you are sharing the listing with others?
@@junglescout Thank you. If the brand isn't on the listing, who will be the listing owner? The first seller who started to sell their product? If that is the case, will they have any interest in letting me update the listing? Sorry, I'm just trying to be clear on what to do. Thank you for responding.
Thank you for this video❤It was very informational! One question- generally do you need LLC for ordering from wholesale or reseller’s certificate would suffice?
For KDP books on Amazon, do you recommend searching 10 niches of books ex: activity, colouring, puzzle etc. or is it suggested to search profitable subniches for any book niche you choose ex: colouring books, for kids, adults, meditation etc
Hi Jungle Scout team, I have a few questions. Why is the estimated monthly sales 8,850 when using the free sales estimator and why is the estimated monthly sales 18,945 when using the Jungle Scout extension for the same product? Shouldn't the monthly sales estimate be the same regardless if we're using the free or paid version of the tool? (Minute 18 in the video for reference) Also, how are we able to improve a product listing by adding images, keywords, product description, etc. when I'm not the one that created the product listing? Are you able to please clarify?
Hello Jose! The data is different because the tools are refreshed at different rates. Some can be a 3-4 weeks old whereas the Extension provides live data. As for a Listing that isn't your own, if you are listed as a seller, you can import the listing and work on it. Otherwise you can always use the Listing grader and then copy and paste the information to improve or work with it!
This video is helpful. but I have a few questions. If I buy brand products from distributors. Do I need to get approval first from the brand to buy that product from distributors? For example, I like to sell Colgate. do I need to connect with band Colgate first to get approval or I just go to any distributor and buy Colgate and start selling them on Amazon??
Hello JS team. You guys are doing great job. I have problem sorting out with products that's have slightly unknown brand. As a starter I am targeting in Canada. Jungles scout sales estimator does not show results stating invalid data. 2ndly do you have a specific video for seller from Canada. As most if the suppliers are in US but the shipping to Canada and then to us customers does not yield any profit
Hi Asma, I'm so sorry to hear that you are having issues with the sales estimator. Could you please email our support team at support@junglescout.com so we can have a closer look at this? I also found this blog about selling in the CA marketplace for you to have a look: www.junglescout.com/blog/how-to-sell-on-amazon-canada/ 😊
We have created videos on our youtube channel regarding optimizing listings. Here's one of them: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BGduoaYkk18.html
I got so much questions. How certain are your numbers on any random listing one might pick? Those are the actual sales exactly. are you getting this info straight from Amazon?
Hi Jake. Thanks for the great video. With the traditional sourcing strategy, if I purchase product X from a distributor and create a listing, selling FBA, the brand itself may also be selling same Product X, either FBA or FBM. I did see a couple of cases/products like these. In such a case, I AM competing with the brand itself - buying their products from distributors and selling in same marketplace. Does the brand/Amazon allow this? Is this allowed?
Hmmm, wold you be able to shoot us an email to support@jnglescout.com with examples of this so I can fully understand what you're asking here? Thanks so much!
Can you make a video about getting LLC, EIN and Sales permit for non-usa residentels? What if i have my LLC in my home country do i still need sales permit in USA? or would it be enough to have sales permit in my home country?
Thanks for your content idea! This is noted. This is what we have at the moment for sellers that are from outside US: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q0hiTFBNXnQ.html but it doesn't have the details yet.
This is really nice video. But I have question, if I would like to sell Colgate. do I need to get approval form Colgate first? 2nd question. If I create wholesale account with a wholeselar and get their inventory list, if I would like to sell 2 or more different brand products do I need to get approval from every brand separately??
It depends on the Brand. Some brands may not allow it, and some may not mind you selling other brands. It is best to reach out to them and ask them first.
Question: Do you recommend grocery items? Do I need to get ungated first before ordering from the supplier? Or can I do this after I purchase the product?
It depends on which grocery item, but if it needs to be ungated, you should have your actual product first. Since it is already an existing brand, if there's a way to get it ungated first before purchasing a lot of units from the supplier, I think that's better.
Very helpful and detailed video. Quick question, is wholesale possible for a business registered outside of the US and obtain EIN numbers & resale permits?
@junglescout do you have any info on requirements for reseller licences for an Australian business for example? What states would I need to get licences if I'm sourcing from wholesalers all around America?
I’m struggling with understanding what to do after purchasing from the supplier. Would Amazon pick up and drop of to packing centre and then pick up and take to Amazon?
20:12 why you skipped purchase price? The supplier price is 49.95 which means there is no profit. Price is higher means lot of investment while no profit.
You mentioned to make sure the brand isn’t the seller during the reverse sourcing tutorial. My impression was that the brand was the seller with the Bee playing cards however. Is that correct?
What JS is saying is to ensure the brand is not the one selling on Amazon. So for example you want to make sure the brand bee playing cards is not selling on Amazon
If we start working with a local distributor, how would be know if the product would sell good on Amazon if their products are not listed on Amazon? Is it just the rest you'll have to take?
I’m honestly a bit confused by conflicting information I’m seeing online. I plan to do wholesale on Amazon fba and I Currently I have an LLC and EIN set up in Illinois. Besides the LLC and EIN what is the document they will they ask for when you apply for opening a wholesale account (certificate of resale, resale permit, ?)Besides that document, do I need to fill out additional certificate of resale documents every time I make wholesale orders? Would you potentially consider accepting a short paid meeting thoroughly discuss this matter? Not financial advice but rather educational and for entertainment purposes?
Effort appreciated thanks a lot. Just a short query, Do we need an amazon account in the name of our business? like LLC. Means we need a business account on Amazon to do wholesale? like all business requirements EIN and others?
Recently, we have come to the difficult business decision that we will be closing Jungle Market as of December 31st. This date allows Freelancers to finish outstanding orders, as they will be accepting their last orders on October 31st. Due to this, we have removed the option to register for a new Jungle Market account for customers and Freelancers. I suggest checking out Fiverr.com and Upwork.com, as many of our Freelancers are transitioning their services to these platforms. 😃
Just created an LLC with IncFile to do wholesale. I was wondering what responsibilities I take on having the LLC. Different tax forums maybe? Renewing? What exactly should I be aware of?
As the owner of an LLC formed with IncFile, there are several responsibilities you should be aware of, including tax obligations, compliance requirements, record-keeping and bookkeeping, liability protection, and potentially obtaining business insurance. To ensure your LLC is successful and compliant with all legal requirements, it's recommended to consult with a lawyer or accountant who specializes in business law and taxes. 😊
@@junglescout ok. Well more specifically IncFile says that it identified 2 licenses that I should get but it requires I pay $99 for them to tell me. Besides certificate of resale do you have any idea what the other might be and why?
Hiya Drew, there are a few options, we recommend consulting with a lawyer or accountant who specializes in business law and taxes for more information.
Hi, If you are not the owner of the Brand, who you suppose to improve the listing and other sellers would take advantage of your work. Also, To be Brand register you have to have your own brand, so in our case we are not, so how you can do A+ content on Amazon. Can you please explain it. Thank you.
Hello, thank so much for the valuable contents. i deeply request form jungle scout team. to make a tutorial video on using the new amazon FBA calculator. becuase the new version has lots of confusion i think. if you do that we ll really appreciated. thanks in Advance
Hello, recently I read that Amazon reduced their packaging on orders and started shipping the orders in their original packaging. People say that there is an option to choose Amazon branded box at checkout. Can't seem to find that. Can you help with that ? Thanks
Hi there! This option will only show if you have the option to have the package shipped in its original state instead of using an Amazon box/envelope. If the item/items can be shipped by placing a label on the original packaging, Amazon will auto-select this option and show you how much you could save on shipping. It will also show the option to select regular packing instead. This is not available on all products!
JS, What if the manufacturer brand is not selling yet on amazon but I want to add it to amazon. I have already gotten approval from the distributor to sell this brand on amazon, should I just create a new listing?
You need to communicate this to the brand owner if you need to create a new listing on Amazon. Here's a Seller Central forum discussion that may help sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/74a55caa-a5a6-4f1b-b37e-5b49715d4172
Hi , can you guys make a video on Amazon dropshipping by informing us about choosing products and so on . I need to know because about 13000 dropshipping accounts got banned in Pakistan. Plz tell us about this business model.
Hi when we see a poor listing it has the potential for optimization, do we make a new listing to optimize or current listing to optimize, if we optimize the current listing then everyone in the listing will have more sales, is it not a good idea to have another listing optimized?
If you find a poorly performing listing that needs improvement, you can either try to fix the current listing or create a new one. If you improve the current listing, it can benefit all sellers listed there and avoid confusing customers. Creating a new listing can be useful for trying different strategies or making significant changes. The best option depends on the specific product and market conditions. 😊
Hi Jungle Scout team, is it possible that the manufacturer is not the brand? If so, how would we know that the manufacturer has the rights to sell the brands products? Same for the distributor, how can we find out if they have the right to sell a brands products?
At the moment, we have no way of getting that information. But I'll pass it over to the relevant team and maybe we can see the feature available in the future. 😉
Can one seller account do both wholesaling and private labelling? or we must choose one of them or make new seller account (with permission from amazon)?
Kindly confirm us that if we purchased multiple products in one order and such invoice submitted to Amazon for Ungating a product and the same has accepted by the Amazon or not and said product has ungated or not.
When forming an LLC for wholesale Amazon, you'll need to choose a state to register your business in. Some states have more favorable tax and legal environments than others, and Delaware, Nevada, and Wyoming are some of the most popular states for LLC formation due to their business-friendly policies. However, it's best to consult with a lawyer or tax professional to determine the best state for your LLC based on your specific needs and goals. 😊
If you're selling the same product, you should be able to submit changes, Amazon will review them and apply them, otherwise, deny them due to listing control
I have a question. To add a product to Amazon I need to enter a SKU number, I purchased items from my wholesaler but where do I find the SKU number? Do I ask the wholesaler for it? This is where I'm stuck at so far.
Typically, SKU numbers are listed on the product's packaging - usually above the product's barcode. If you're listing the product, you can create a new one when listing the product:ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-evG2ZLXWywQ.html
@@junglescout Makes sense. The thing is that I purchased many pairs of gloves at wholesale price and they were not individually packed. Just many pairs in one big box.
I just want to make sure, are you referring to the SKU or the UPC/GTIN? Because the SKU can be anything you want to assign to the product. You can create one which is typically being used for your own business' internal inventory.
Here are 5 ways to win the Buy Box on Amazon: - Sell products in a new condition. Typically, the seller who wins the Buy Box will offer a new version of the product. - Offer competitive pricing. Amazon equates low prices with happy customers. - List as a Prime seller. . - Keep strong inventory levels. - Maintain positive seller feedback.
Hey duds, Can it be profitable to compete with Amazon as the BUY BOX winner is Amazon it self doing wholesale FBA , knowing that there's a high demand for a popular brand's product ? Thanks
We don't mind competing against Amazon when we're creating our own listing for Private Label. It may be a little tricky with Wholesale as Amazon can drive down the price
@@junglescout One more question. What do you use to get an idea on what percentage of the time each seller is winning the buy box? Is there a software you recommend?
This is hard to verify! But just in case you would like to learn how to win the Buy Box, we have a great article about it: www.junglescout.com/blog/how-to-win-the-buy-box/
@@junglescout So i have found a product with 10 sellers. But i think 4 of them have a 2 percent price difference from the lowest price. So to be classed as low competition how many should be within that 2 percent price range P.s your videos help a lot you guys do not understand i am so grateful
The recommended is less than 10 quality sellers within the Buy Box, so it is best to review these sellers in terms of ratings and price points. We're super glad to see that you find our videos helpful 🙂
Hello Jake, I have question about wholesale? If the brand or the distributer give me permission to sell their product, then how I can list the product or the Amazon do everything byself?.Another question? do we have to buy the upc barcode or the suppliers will use the same? .plzz brother help me with that thank you...
You can follow the steps in the video. You can reach out to them via email/their contact us page/form. Each brand owner has their own requirements but if they accept, and you become one of their resellers, you can use FBA for storage and fulfillment services and send them to your buyers.
Is it necessary to call wholesalers? I am not a US citizen and don't have an English accent so wholesalers/distributors might not want to do business with me because of these reasons.
While calling wholesalers can be helpful, alternative communication methods are available if you're uncomfortable with it. The most important thing is to be professional and clear in your communication, regardless of the method you choose. 😊
