I have 3 Questions: 1) Example: Should I buy 10 pairs of the same shoes and size or 10 units of the same soap fragrance in order to get ungated? 2) If yes. How do I sell shoes of the brand but different sizes and models? Or different soap fragrances? 3) Once the product is ungated, do I need to upload the invoice again if I decide to purchase more units later down the road?

I love your videos brother! You’re a hidden gem, that does not get the recognition they deserve! I’ve been stuck trying to Ungate Vitafusion and have gotten to the point where I don’t know what I can do to get ungated and what sucks is that I was regated for this brand.
This does not work as of 11/12/2023. The reason that they denied was... "-- You have provided a order confirmation file. We are unable to accept retail receipts, online order confirmations, packing slips, sales orders, pro forma invoices, or sales quotes for approval. Provide an invoice from a manufacturer, distributor, or your supplier that reflects the itemized list of goods that you bought." Appreciate the video but just a heads up Amazon is not accepting the stores invoices that you included in your video anymore.

I am curious your thoughts on something if you have the time....Does getting approved for an item in a brand allow me to sell all items in that brand? Like your example with puma socks.... once I am approved to sell the socks, does that get me approval for other puma items such as hoodies, shoes, shorts, ect.... I got a few invoices for some of the beauty brands from my supplier and I applied for their ungating. Everything on the invoices was similar except for the product description ofcourse. I got approved for a few but not the others so I am not sure what the actual difference was. I met the amazon requirements on the invoices as well which explains why I got approved to sell some of those brands.

I am a brand registered seller on amazon and I don't want other sellers hijacking my listing. How we can gate our products so that no one else can sell them through our listing? Or make other sellers require the approval from us, so that we can reject them?

it depends on the product and the category, sometimes you only have to do one, and sometimes you have to do both. But one invoice can work for both. Reach out to me on IG and I can give you a bit more direction.

just start sourcing and you'll come across brands you can sell. But once you start making any kinds of sales, that is when amazon opens things up so much easier.

Hi Marvin, If Amazon accept the supplier or distributor invoice for the product we want to sell on Amazon, then we don't need approval of the brand for the product to sell in Amazon, since Amazon accept the distributor invoice. Am i right?
Correct, but there is a difference from being approved by amazon to sell it on their platform and the brand themselves allowing you to sell it on amazon. That is why it is important to check for any signs of IP issues when doing product research.

We are listing our skincare product on Amazon with generic and without UPC, which submits. we have manufactured the products already from China. Amazon is saying we need to get Approvals from regulators to sell the skincare product. How do we get Ungated and how do we start selling?
Hey bro, thanks for the video. What about the listing on amazon once all the products are sold and you don’t get the same product on sale again. What happens to the listing? Will Amazon deactivate the listing? Will it affect the sales history?
You can just leave it, close it, or delete it. But if you close it or delete it, make sure you're past the return window so you don't get stuck with stranded inventory.

Example: We want to ungate Adidas. Buy 10 units of the adidas product, that amazon says you are gated in. Buy it off of Soccer, and submit the invoice they give you.
@MarvinTV1 the piece im trying to sale is expensive and the other product they sale aren't ungated I guess , and don't want to take a loss. Could I just use the invoice and return , because it will around a 1k for 10 items 😔 and it's a electronic piece so not on soccer, should I buy 10 off Amazon and make it easy or directly was the question as well. Also, be ready that some products might need additional approvals. I faced a problem with listing a kids toy, Amazon requires for toys a Child Protection Certificate, that of course I don’t have and manufacturer won’t give it to me 🙅🏼♂️

When I do online arbitrage, will that receipt/invoice be different from the invoice that I receive if I were to order from a distributor or manufacturer from wholesale business ? Could I use the same invoice as from just ordering from a retailer ?
I'm having a hard time getting an explanation as to how losses can occur due to buying 10 items to obtain an invoice. If a product is bought from a wholesaler at a discount, why would a loss be incurred??? Is there some sort of fee that could make someone sell at a loss??? If this is the case, why don't all transactions in which products are being bought for the purpose of being resold lead to losses??? I hope my question is clear. Thanks.
If we're talking about ungating, we are willing to sell at a loss for the ungating order "10 units" so that it opens up the entire brand. You do not have to do this though, you can source the brand until you find something profitable then purchase that to get ungated, this usually means a more expensive 10 unit order and the risk of not getting ungated is still there and then you will lose more money.

Great video!! If you get ungated in say Nike… do you have to send in what you bought into amazon? I watched a video of someone saying they always return what they bought after getting ungated in that brand.
So I heard that whatever address you use to set up. Consumers are able to see that information. So I’m starting out and I really don’t want my address out there like that. So I’ve heard that using a P.O. Box is not that bad. But what do you do when you ship to your house but that isn’t the address you use on your account?

Just a quick question: Can I do each 10-unit brand name products from different categories on one invoice to get ungated, or do I need a separate invoice for each 10-unit product within a category? I'm getting products from a wholesaler who only lets me spend a certain amount. I want to buy stuff from different categories on one invoice and not hold the same items. On the Selling application for Brand -- I've been seeing ASIN on the list that requires it "Dated on or before Nov 6, 2023 (within 180 days); does that mean perma-ungate due to not being early?
Thanks for video. I tried to ungate grocery today, 16 July 2024, the first requirement is the purchase invoice MUST BE DATED ON OR BEFORE JAN 18,2024... Meaning that it needs invoice that is at least 6 months old !! How I'm gonna do this??

Yes you are open in the entire category but there may still be brands that are gated within that category. Follow the steps in the video and you can find one.
I did this and received an email almost instantly telling me that I've been approved. When I go check other products, even simply organic, it still reads "approval required". Does it take time to update and reflect on my seller central account? Also, could you tell me/us the difference between approval required and restricted? Much appreciated, thank you!!
So how do people sell stuff they find in Walmart, tj max, Ross, etc? You only get a receipt from them and not an invoice..this is the part I’m tying to figure out

Amazon doesn't accept the receipts you get when you buy something in store, but you can get ungated with an invoice, email confirmation, retail "invoice". Once you are ungated then you can buy from any store you want. I'll make another ungating video to clear it all up.

I processed my order through Frontier-Coop two days ago and now they’re asking for a business license. They said the order cannot be completed without it. Any suggestions to get around this?
How do ou know if the product matches? I cannot find a UPC, ASIN, or anything besides that sites product code for the product. I see a very similar picture on amazon, i just would like to know if theres a code i can match up to be 100% sure
if your supplier doesn't have the matching UPC, you will just need to ask if it's a matching product if you have any concerns, or if they provide a picture, make sure it's the same product.
Hey Marvin, let me get this right... we order our product and THEN request to be ungated using our invoice... what if we don't get ungated? We just wasted money on that product? Or can we keep trying and eventually it will be accepted?
Before ordering the product you want to make sure it is actually gated for the brand/category that you want to ungate. Once you confirm that then place the order. And yes you may not get approved every time, keep re-applying.
