Thanks for the in depth explanation and step by step tutorial. I now know that all I have to do is twist one screw, clip some stuff in and magically I will have a fully functioning ceiling fan

And that engine mount isn’t that light. I would drop it and would drive a hole in my floor. But means better engine for a better higher quality fan.

If you do not have a ground wire, please contact an electrician. There must be a ground wire for safety.

When you have black, red and white wires, and nothing in the instructions tells you to use the red wire for anything....

We rented an air bnb in Vegas and they had multiple wireless remote fans and the problem was when you turn your light off with the remote to go to bed you would end up turning the other lights on from other fans, then they would turn their light off which would turn ours back on.
