At least until very recently, for several years, this show was a regular rerun on Australian free-to-air television, in all its un-PC glory. Even Kingswood Country was still doing the rounds from time to time too.
Simply 1980s genius!!! Unbelievable...God! comedy along with cars, sports, music, politics and everything else of 21st century completely gone by the wayside. Thank God for 1980's, last era where there was TV and comedy worth watching. hilarious
This was the best episode, and it is based on a true story. Maintenance put in the wrong size screws to hold in a forward window in the cockpit. THe window flew out, and one of the pilots was indeed "sucked out" of the plane. That the guys were able to parody this is simply brilliant.
Like these guys were great and like today, we just could NOT get away with this or half the stuff that Fast Forward and like Hey Hey It's Saturday got away with in the 90's! They were good days! Lol.
No doubt some SJW would have the cast of this up on an 18C charge before the Human Rights Commission if this was broadcast these days. So glad the thought police weren't about when these shows first aired. Just brilliant stuff.
The good old days are useful now days because as our speech is slowly being gagged, we are forced into a situation where innuendo is more important than ever. Apples and pears will be making a come back.
We don’t have any guarantees of free speech at all. That was entirely gone by the time anti-vilification and anti-discrimination laws were put in place at the insistence of communists and jewish lobby groups like the ADL
Reading the comments on so many of these videos, I have to wonder why conservatives get off so much on imagining liberals taking offense? Liberals are often the people who tend to make this kind of satire. Because unlike conservatives we are able to laugh at ourselves. Fantasizing about the past as a golden era for your own prejudice is inaccurate enough, why do you need to project on creative people that they would have agreed with you.
marshhen ... Yeah, you can act in comedies and write comedies UNTIL someone in the groupthink-tank TELLS YOU that the very kind of comedy you used to perform and/or enjoy is NOW (and henceforth) “triggering” or “politically incorrect,” and then you switch to “lecturing-style comedy,” which is weak as water and witless as worms. That’s what preachy Leftism does to humor-it cuts the soul and lifeblood out of comedy. These skits could NOT be made today and you know it.
Oh get over it. I’m gay and I always found these two funny because there’s people really like this. And guess what, I’m no offended at everything Lefty.
Gays have a long history as airline stewards but in 2024 I encountered my first steward of indeterminate gender. Still wondering what letter of the alphabet they are.
The funny thing about this is nothing has changed. People are still gay still talk like this still gravitate to certain jobs still do things back in the 80s-90s that were considered “not normal” then The only difference is TODAY we are supposed to accept every absurdity as being NORMAL are heaven forbid if you see humour in this we are told we are being insensitive and might hurt their feelings. The P C world we are forced to live in is humourless and all about people’s “feelings”. The world is doomed
