I have Xpedition Smoke. All reviews I've seen except for Bowhunter planet the Smoke was the fastest. On bowhunter planet the 350 shot faster than the Smoke. Smoke is smoother than both 350 & Omen but it's more jumpy .
Speed bow test, here we go! ( Pulls out 2 Hoyt that are not their speed bow) Need to add in Hoyt Z1S, rated 350 same as your bow. Also as everyone else is saying Elite Omnia seems to be one of the best new speed bows this year talked about everywhere. Would also be great at the end of the comparison video to do a recap with chart showing the numbers side by side for comparison
I'm a little surprised y'all didn't shoot the elite omnia. I got one a couple months ago and I love it. Super smooth, super fast at 347 ibo and incredibly dead in the hand. I shot elite, bowtech and Matthews cause that's what my local shop carries and I went back and forth between the omnia and the phase 4 for awhile. I really love the Matthews too but it just doesn't come in a size that's comfortable for me. I settled on the omnia because I like the axle to axle and the speed was better. It's pretty quiet but not as quiet as Matthews. Anyway... I've been super happy with it! Great video fellas!
No Elite Omnia ?? 🙄 This is like having a competition for the Best Guitarist and not have 'JIMI' show up !!! 🙃 I shot the SR 350 for 8 months - LOVED that Bow - but once I shot the **OMNIA** : Finest bow I EVER SHOT ! ...#2 isn't close. Shooting Performance: 60#, 26.5" Draw, 77% Let-Off, 300 gr. arrow at 310 FPS !!! Punch ^^^^^^ into an Arrow Speed Calculator and SEE WHERE THE IBO SPEED RATING IS !! Hold & Balance are Spectacular, Best Grip in the Business. The Bow is a **Ghost** post shot, Absolutely NO VIBRATION; it's OTHERWORLDLY ! You'll seriously question whether YOU FIRED IT OR NOT !!! Don't group single spots with this Bow...unless you like to pay and build new arrows. Shot my Best 3D Round EVER yesterday with a Crap Scope - I couldn't miss !! Micro adjust DL 1/4". Micro adjust let-off from 70-90% (with an Allen Wrench). If you don't want a New Bow - **DO NOT SHOOT THIS BOW !!!** Hope it helps, John
That’s awesome that the Hoyt vtm 34 was the fastest shooting bow besides the bow tech,, 28.5DL is at the top of the cam mod which is why it wasn’t as smooth feeling as the other hoyt but they made it so it performs at top notch with a (in my opinion) smoother draw then the Mathews,, even if your not at a 30”DL while still being a forgiving bow,, that’s why it was the fastest at 28.5 out of all the new bows you guys tried,, the other ones require you to push more towards the 30”DL to be more efficient and perform at top notch
I shoot the mathews v3x 29. I am shooting Easton axis 5mm 340 spine at 420 grains. At 64# at 29inches. I am getting 283 fps out of the chrono. And I hunt hogs and have had all pass throughs. This will be my 1st deer season wt it and elk .nice review
It doesn’t s make sense to give up so much performance to shoot an unnecessarily heavy arrow unless you are hunting something much larger than deer. Besides modern ease of tuning, you might as well go back thirty years in terms of technology. Then bows required 8 grains per lb. People were shooting similar weight arrows at 60 or 70# and were lucky if they were 230 fps, and were absolutely lethal on deer. Even a minimum gpp arrow out of a modern bow near 70# and a reasonable draw length will have much more energy. Take advantage of the performance available with todays bows, and get over the heavy arrow fad.
Leaving out Hoyt vtm31, Hoyt Z1s and Elite Omnia their fastest bows, your test mean nothing sounds more like a Mathews add. Sorry but in tests we've done Mathews don't even make the top 3 fastest bows of 2023, sad but true
Prime revex 2 with 80# limbs for me. Draws so good i didnt notice it wasnt 70lbs until the guy in my local shop told me. Shot it, the mathews, the new bear and 2 different bowtechs. Cant go wrong with any new bow. Imo.
I picked up a Prime Inline 3 last summer. The grip feel and consistency was awesome and the main selling point. I also love the draw cycle. It shoots my 455 grain arrows 280fps. The grip is repeatable which as always been a problem for me. I can shoot golf ball size groups out to 50 with it. I have never been able to do that with any other bow.
11:40 I did the same exact thing with my draw length, basically cramming myself into a 28" DL until two years ago I decided to experiment with my Bowtech Experience, which is very easy to adjust. I'm now comfortably shooting 29" with proper form.
Went and shot all the 2023 bows. Been a while since I got a new one. Ended up with the phase 4. Same reaction as y’all. So smooth and quiet. I was blown away.
Loved shooting the Phase 4 31. Shot it last fall when I came back from overseas. Outstanding bow... I kinda liked my 2019 APA King Cobra TF2 70#@ 29.5"DL a bit more surprisingly. Little stiffer in the draw cycle but it couldn't convince me to switch. Hard to pass sending a 447 grain arrow down range at 311fps
@Hunt227 what's your point? All I did is justify my answer which.... I didn't have to do. At what point does too heavy become a disadvantage though. You can't convince me that you need a 600 grain arrow for any deer species or pig. Crunching numbers... My setup hits harder than yours with a lighter arrow and will zip thru most of the animals I kill and I kill a lot of them
@@robertsophiea05 none of the Deadlock bows draw as smooth as the Realm series bows. I have a press and draw board at home so yoke tuning is easy. The RX7 Ultra was a nice shooting bow, but slow, and the Omnia was pretty nice. The SS34 was my favorite of the new bows that just came out, but heavier and slower than the SR6.
