Desoldered my first one of these today using your video as a guide. No pads got ripped either! Successful pull! It seemed like it took forever heating from the bottom like this, i was afraid i was gonna damage one of those diodes on the bottom. What temp is your air set at? Thank you for this video btw. Outstanding work!
It all depends on the solder you use and what temperature your heat gun is set to. Do some testing first and start at 700F 30 % air. Good luck on your repair.
