Lol! Glad someone noticed! I found that while going through some of the stuff we got when we bought the 6 corvettes a few weeks ago. I knew exactly where it had to go when I saw it!
9.34 is insanely fast! If guys back in the day who raced mid 60s Corvettes thinking they were smoking fast running mid 12s on slicks could fast forward and see what you're doing with these cars now a days, and on Fire stone wide ovals, they would probably completely lose it and still be in a mental institution. Technology is pretty amazing! Great video, thanks again for sharing!
i have worked on alot of corvettes over my career, the 67 has always been my favorite. very envious of your collection, so good to see you using them as intended!! new car is a jewel, great job.give em hell...
That car is beautiful and she runs like hell. Looks like you're off to a great start. Winners circle coming soon👍. I had no idea they transferred weight like that. That's crazy with stock stuff.
You are exactly right. I used to go to Memphis back in the 90’s to see Chuck Samuel, Nick Scavo and the like. Was really cool to see real street cars go so fast. What Jordan and his family are doing is nothing short of phenomenal, and more interesting than anything I’ve seen since those days way back. Love the Corvettes, and they know how to make em fly. Neat seeing stock looking stuff go that fast.
That’s what I’ve been looking forward to brother! Congratulations on the performance first time out. I enjoy what you guys are doing more than any kind of drag racing I’ve seen in years, probably since the NMCA Super Street days in Memphis in the 90’s. Your channel is my absolute favorite. Thanks for posting for us!
Thanks for the video! Your team must be super busy, fantastic results! I grew up in the musclecar era, and my dad used to tell me that the corvette drivers were crazy, nothing but fiberglass surrounding the driver! However, the roadrunners were always sideways when burning out, and the doctors all drove GTOs!
Love this channel! Keep up the good work. I raced in the support series many moons ago. I believe you were racing the 1970 Camaro back then. Can't wait to see the 67 fully sorted out. Strap the stuffed Elephant in the passenger seat. Good luck.
These cars are absolutely bonkers. Congrats. I love the stock look and the insane performance. I'm imagining you making some serious money and hurting some serious feeling if you ever took these things out street racing.
Talk about some COOL cars!!! Unreal performance!!! The 67 is a Beautiful car. Maroon with white interior and stripe. The new 2 stage paints look way different(better) than the original lacquer. I notice your moms went to 8,000 rpm. Unreal!!! Lifted the front tires too!! This F.A.S.T. stuff is pretty neat!!
Have been lucky enough to ride a few times in a 1967 L88. Slightly modified original engine, 5 speed swap, and quite well tuned suspension. Most comparable vehicle would be a C6 ZO6 in my mind.
Glad to see you back to serious testing/racing as opposed to the tedious loading/unloading crap of the last couple of episodes. It's like Finnegan with his "unboxing" bullshit. This is still my favorite channel. Give Mom her timing back.
Looking good Jordan. Wow, a 9.34 with a relatively slow 1.51 60’. Sounded like the engine wasn’t real happy at the launch, presume because you have so much timing pulled out? Once you get the 60’ down into the mid to low 1.40’s this thing should be into the low 9.20’s or upper teens! Also sounds like you are hitting the rev limiter just before the finish stripe? This thing is a beast!
The engine is not revving clean. Couple of reasons. I can’t fix one of them this weekend, I dealt with the same issue in the ZL1. The other is it’s really fat. Needs less jetting. I’ll attack that tomorrow when the event starts.
You shouldn't have your shocks full loose on your car, you should tighten them until they don't top out so abruptly. If you tighten them until it just barely has any feel when you top the shock out that will make that car take a lot more power in the 60
Sorry to be negative......all Covette's ever....should have never come with an auto......if you can't drive a stick....you have no business in a Vette......
I can drive a stick with the best of them. You can go watch my video of a 66 327 vs a 67 427. I’d rather not spend time breaking transmissions and going through clutches. Manual cars impress high schoolers, automatics win races.
Automatic is the Way to go. I have three sticks and one automatic. Take automatic any day. You're part of a new automatic hating on corvettes, especially C3s.
