My Erevo has been absolutely a tank on durability. I’ve smashed it flying into a mail box at about 40mph and it broke the receiver box lid, that’s it. The Erevo has been my most durable truck so far!
We went to the hobby store, I told both my daughters "get whatever you want" 🤣We walked out with a Maxx, an ERevo, and an XMaxx for myself. Glad they have the same taste as I do!
I have both of these too. Kevin is spot on with the reviews. I actually prefer the Revo over the maxx because its faster and more responsive. Definitely not as durable. Another note to mention is Kevs driving abilities here. Being able to flip with control or steering with such quick precision isn't easy.
The revo 2.0 is weak at least the new version is, traxxas is too money hungry. Get the kraton and save yourself some money. My bro worked at hobby town and those were the cars he would see the most.
@@marcello2563 the erevos issues are fixed with limiting straps and aluminum rear brace -$20. Then new servo just like a kraton will want. Oh and no chassis bending like a kraton
My next purchase will be the e revo!!! Looks like it handles amazing 👍 I started off an Arrma fanboy but recently purchased the Xmaxx, Mini maxx and revo 3.3!! I love them all👍
I take the tough car every time. Why I don't really own Traxxas. My Slayer Pro's a source of parts for scratch builds and I've zero plans to buy another TRX. My experience with Traxxas was one of constant breakdowns and twiddling. My experience with every other manufacturer I've ever bought an RC from has been smiles and donuts. Fer frog's snacks my 37 year old Kyosho nitro buggy, made back when they didn't know how to make a nitro car and were still using airplane engines in them, has a better reliability record! Clearly ain't something I'm doing/not doing if all my Associateds, Kyoshos, et-al run just fine while my Traxxas never ran more than 10 minutes at a time without something breaking.
Stinking hot down here in Aus Kev. Yeah it's almost like the comparison between the Xmaxx and Kraton, just within the Traxxas brand. I'd go the mini Max myself, more compact therefore tougher design.

Also, why not buy some cheap drones, and try taking them out the sky with super high jumps with rc cars mate!!?? That would add a whole new level of "carnage" to some of your vids my friend!!?? The Revo is a better race truck in my opinion I'm more into racing than bashing so I would have to go with the Revo all though the Maxx is really cool and tuff and Kev is a bashing beast so I see why he would pick the Maxx 🔥👍✌️
Hey Kevin can you recommend me some good cheap steering servos? I just killed one yesterday and was thinking of getting the same one and just replacing it but I was thinking you might be able to recommended something cheap. Thanks in advance! It would also be awesome if it was waterproof too. Anyone that can reply to this will be a huge help
Hey kev I have a unboxing and review suggestion for you. You should inbox and review the Hpi wheelie king it has six inch suspension and 5,4 inch tires. And four wheel drive. Please review this I am wanting to buy this and I don’t know if it is any good.

I have the tp 5660 1460kv , max5, flopack cap pack in my K8s 22t / 25t pinion and stock spur 1 million wt front 20 million center 500k rear with hobby star 1/5 scale servo 70kg power hobby raptors wheels and its a beast it has so much power it wheelies on demand and is just so easy to control just some options for you with the O8S good luck with the TP just watch the temps
