Fast Times might be my favorite movie, no matter how many times Ive seen it I dont get bored with it. I feel like its because its so relatable, we were all dumb high school kids once.

He real "Spiccoli" was in my grade school classes but he hates to named. He was huge for his age. His family was Scandinavian so he had blonde hair and a great tan. He would go surfing all the time with his old brothers before school. I can't remember if he had blue eyes or not. They may have been hazel but I remember how he dressed and acted. Yes, he did have an entitled aura around him and the other students respected him because he was huge and a confident leader in grade school. That redhead in the movie was his good friend in real life too. J. C. I'll never forget after 6th grade graduation us girls had a pool party. The boys talked the girls into getting some of us to do a dare. We walked from the Jacuzzi to the pool with no shirt. It seems like Spiccoli who was also 12 was one of the boys who was spying thru the fence to see which of us was blossoming early. They were getting wild.
Probably because Phoebe is still pissed about the topless scene. She tried to get out of it at the last minute and Ms. Heckerling told her, "You signed a contract, this was part of it, so you're doing it or we'll replace you." Ms. Leigh, on the other hnd, was happy to go topless, so she didn't give a shit. She probably has bad memories associated with the time because her dad died on the set of The Twilight Zone around when this movie was made.

Nicolas cage hates this movie....all three of them, most of their scenes were cut out of the original movie, including all of Cage's spoken lines. It's only the TV edit, which removes most of the good scenes, where their scenes are added back in. Even if you buy the DVD or Blu Ray, it doesn't contain the missing scenes. They've always been treated like they aren't in this movie, as none of them were stars yet, they were basically just extras in the movie.
I was gonna ask the very same thing! Funny how many actors started out in this film...and funny how other than Sean Penn, the main stars of the film didn't go on to become as successful as the guys who had smaller roles. Forest Whitaker and the three you mentioned went on to do lots of things (like win Academy awards) while Brian Backer, Judge Reinhold and Robert Romanus seemed to fizzle out in the 80's.
At least he did his characters voice. Unlike Tom Hanks who turns into a dick whenever he's asked about doing Forrest Gump. I get it, if your asked a thousand times it must get annoying, but you created a character that people love. Deal with it!!
I'm not the biggest Forrest Gump fan, and not even the biggest Tom Hanks fan, but I'm not sure if many actors could've pulled that off. I read somewhere that a few guys turned it down before TH was offered the role, and that John Travolta was one of them. At best, that probably would've just been bizarre.
Doug Robb I am not referring to everyday people that stop him on the street when he is in a rush or eating dinner and say "Hey! Do Forrest for us". I'm speaking about his attitude when asked about It on talk shows. When he did "Inside The Actors Studio" which is a quality show about acting, Mr Hanks got an attitude with host James Lipton when asked to revisit the character for the students in the audience. It made him look like a stuck up ass with the comment he made to the host. I agree, actors are not trained seals. They do need to remember who gave them their success>>>The moviegoers!! And if it's asked in the right way and makes a person smile I do not see the problem. So fuck you back you negative ass clown.
