F9 is the first film out of the franchise I saw. I had absolutely ZERO context of what was going on, apart from, "This thing has JUMPED the shark." I can now safely say after watching all the other ones I'm beyond stoked to show up opening day for a dumb, fun time.

Part 1 of 2. Letty and Cypher aren't face offing. They are enemies teaming up against a mutual foe. They are Hobbs and Shawing them.

Fast X is in 2-parts just like the next Mission Impossible. I’m hoping Gal makes her return at the end of this movie and then is in part 2.

Fast 11 is the last one! this is a two parter

Maybe it's due to the change in director but the thing I like about this trailer is it dropped the meta humour the previous movies have had. I never felt like anyone was ever really in trouble before because even the characters didn't take the movie seriously. I feel like maybe someone could actually be killed in this one. Jordana Brewster was there. It'd be crazy if this was the movie where they killed Brian off but it'd make sense in world. He is basically the leader of the group alongside Dom. I don't know how they'd pull it off and make it more emotional than his send off in Furious 7 but I can totally see them building up to that this whole time. I also love that Michelle Rodriguez is getting these incredible action sequences. It's so weird, she started off in Girlfight then the first Fast and Furious then she kind of faded into the background for awhile. Since she's come back though she's had some of the best sequences. Presumably her ego isn't so huge she doesn't need that stupid clause in her contract where she goes hit for hit which make her fights more dynamic. She's also in Dungeons and Dragons. I really hope this is kind of a resurgence and she can move into her own action franchise after this.

I hope your Face/Off theory is true. it would be a hoot. This is also the penultimate movie. Leterrier is signed up for Fast XI. Also, the action almost looks realistic this time? Apart from the harpooned jet car of course.

Fast X is the first movie of a 2 part story, after Fast X 2 there will be more Fast n Furious movies but maybe not with full initial cast. Like a female spinoff with Letty and potential Hobbs n Shaw sequel.

Just rewatched fast five and its pretty clear at the end reyes had a driver his right hand man. The trailer at first made it look like mamoa was his driver but it had to be in a different car to make sense. And then hobbs was the one that killed reyes. So not sure how theyre going to twist this like Letty and Han coming back.

the movie will end with dom seeing a delorian and walking to it and as it drives off the camera pans away from it and you hear it go back in time. with a voice over/fading away dom saying "one last time"

An Easter egg I noticed ain't the military truck that Jason momoa blowed up ain't that hobbs truck maybe that's the reason he doesn't appear here and returns in fast 11 Jason momoa kills him in 11 he reappears

I very much appreciate Statham coming back. I was worried that maybe Dwayne had convinced him not to. Although since Dwayne is the one dragging his feet on a sequel to Hobbs and Shaw maybe Statham has no love for the guy. Or perhaps when his Transporter 1 and 2 director, Louis Leterrier, took over directing he gave him a call and asked if he'd come back. Whatever the case, I'm glad he's back. His energy was sorely missed. Given everyone seems to be such good friends now I don't know how, or if, they plan on connecting that post credit scene from F9.

What's interesting to me, if I'm not mistaken the original Fast and Furious came out in 1927. Which was the very first iteration of the story, aside from written short stories and novels previously done. Although incomparable and now the 1927 version isn't very entertaining, so it's always good to get something another go because there's always a chance you could make it better. This is one example of that, although maybe in some moments it's just the same as any other previous movie. You start to the point where you can't tell them apart. But I guess that's not why you're watching them! But it'll be interesting to see what they actually do with number 11, since we'll know this is actually part 1 of 2 of a final story. This one ends to be continued.

If its Fast 10, you could advertise it as Fast 10 your seatbelts. But Fast X kinda sounds like fastest if you hit the Nos and say it quick enough.
