It’s been a good couple months since the last truly spicy lands draft. Excited for a return to lands.

I feel that so much. I can never wheel Crucibles or Mystic Forge in the queues, even when I have all the pieces.

I guess, the density of good archetype cards was too high. Guy to his right probably took the ramunap, speculating that he might immediately wheel into exploration and fastbond.

I mean the guy might have also simply had two on color fetches or something. I don't remember the ramunap pack (or how many picks in it was) but if it was mid enough might already be more legit.

Overvaluing green lands card after passing Fastbond would have made total sense as a cut. But I went back and checked, JBRO did not open Fastbond, that was one pack later than him. Still, he took Ramunap as a fourth pick over something like teferi + grim monolith. If he's taken some green cards, that's not that crazy.

If you do that you don't get to bring back strip mine from the graveyard with Titania. He could have played Titania first and got back Heath, then it's one extra 5/3 for him vs one extra land for the opponent

@@Eszik3 are you sure? Couldn’t you respond to the titania land trigger by sacrificing and then retrieve strip mine once the trigger resolves?

​@@mariano_molina Unfortunately nope, Titania's ability targets, so you need to target the land you want to bring back when her ability goes on the stack. You've got no window between Titania entering the battlefield and having to target a land in the graveyard for her ability

@@LSVargas That's unfortunate. I feel that there are a least a handful of good ones to try out.

671 tix (1 tix=1 USD if I recall correctly) for a list from 3 months ago. No idea what upkeep cost would be. Got that number by finding a list, exporting it, uploading to a site that lists tix prices. Another option is to use a card rental service, I've used them in the past but never for cube. Looking at prices now it would be ~40$ monthly for a subscription that would cover cube.

Make dls permanent* later sunset is always better

The ETB targets so it has to be in the GY when the ETB goes on the stack or it can’t bring strip mine back.

There are rental programs, so you could pay something like 5 bucks when you want to play.
