6 minutes into the battle is a prefect encapsulation of why CVs are broken: 98k damage 68k spotting damage Full health CVs simultaneously provide some of the highest damage potential, coupled with the best spotting and survivability. No other type of ship provides anywhere near the same combination of damage, utility, and survivability.
They should be, right? They are the reason why Battleships became obsolete over 100 years ago. Wargaming wanted this. Even with the upcoming spotting rework, there is no way they can "balance" CVs without removing them completely from the game. oh look they added 3 more today... (sarcasm cuz i completely agree with you lol)
CVs are not broken, their presence is game breaking. Another ugly thing about CVs is that the two rival CV players in a match and their comparative skill levels can easily decide the outcome. If one is a dodo then his team is usually fked.
Nakhimov to me is the most toxic ship in this game. The planes just never stop, you are constantly spotted and constantly trying to dodge attacks, all from 1 player.
One of my first experiances with Nakhimov was watching it HALVE a cruisers health right at the start of the match with friendlys around also firing like crazy on the planes as I recall, balance.
I must be the only one in the game that Loves even double CV matches. I've become very-very-very successful in kicking their asses. I got tired of their crap early on and learned how to defeat them. Halland sucks, Oster sucks, Oland kicks their asses! BION. You need the "combination of" strong AA + maneuverability and relatively small size... Oland is the best at the AA game Bar none, but it's not a given... you must learn how! I can dodge exquisitely to the point of "can't touch this" for the most part but it takes strong enough AA to deny them the time to worm around. The AA game also includes dodging ship to ship volleys... I can do that too and concurrently! There is a way! I can and do "consistently" kick CVs asses including sinking them! I agree that most ships are too vulnerable to aircraft attacks and That CVs are OP. I play specific DDs that can at least do well and I cuss and swear when I'm not in them lol. Maneuverability alone doesn't do it (Lightning sucks) AA alone doesn't do it (Halland sucks) Oland is the king but Fletcher, Benson and a few others can hold their own! If you know how! Robert P.S. this is important... all DDs that have decent AA should go out of their way (if near enough) to shoot down the fighters "That are supplying detrimental spotting on your teammates"! Play TEAM "for the win" with your AA whenever possible. Spotter planes SAME even if you give up your location to do so... TEAM!
That Yamato has 40% WR. On the other hand Smolensk has 60% WR, and he attacked that Yamato 3 times and did way more damage than he did with 10 attacks to Smolensk. Bear in mind that Nakhimov is probably strongest damage dealer when it comes to T10 CVs and Trenlass is one the better players out there.
@@Billswiftgti well obvious, my point was that guy played badly and could have lived much more and contribute to the match if he had higher skill. There is bunch of Smolensk players out there complaining about being unable to do anything against CV, except those have 40% WR. But yea, you are right. Yamato in general is like a candy to a CV considering it usually plays isolated and has weak AA.
this has got to be the most toxic thing I've seen regarding WoWs lately. I get that you dont like CV's either bro, but hearing you laughing etc at this gameplay just pains my heart :P
