I still have a lot to learn about audio processing, but understood a lot more than in the previous webinar. Very appreciative of Toby's insight (and his amazing website which gave me marketing ideas). Someday... lol.
Wow, thank you! I am JUST starting out; I'm still building my vocal both. I had to google a few of the voice over jargon words as I didn't understand everything. This video will help me when I experiment with my DAW. Thanks again!

Great analogy to film! Audiences will accept, handheld, shaky cam, distressed film, all kinds of lower grade film/video (whether intentional or not.) But poor audio will have them walking out of the theater.
Very useful video! Thank you for the tips. I don’t have Adobe Audition, but I I have Izotope RX7 Standard which has the spectrum view. Is RX7 good for doing all of the edits and processing?
RX7 is great! It's definitely more equipped than the spectral view in Audition, but it's not quite as easy to edit within RX7. Typically people will use something like RX7 to address issues in their audio, then they will use a non-linear editior like Audition, Audacity, or even Garageband to perform the edits.
