THIS IS PROBABLY FASTER PUSSYCAT'S FIRST NETWORK INTERVIEW WAY BACK IN JUNE OR JULY OF 1987. THEY DISCUSS THEIR UPCOMING TOUR WITH GUNS N' ROSES WHO WAS ALSO AN OPENING BAND AT THE TIME. THEY WOULD TOUR THAT SAME YEAR WITH ACE FREHLEY'S COMETS AND ALICE COOPER.

ok, so my confession is that I was OBSESSED with Faster Pussycat! I am not a groupie kind of chick but I totally loved Taime Downe, and go figure, he was(and probably still is) a dirty birdy. Funny, I still love Faster Pussycat, and though now I get the lyrics a hell of a lot more than I did at 13, it didn't change the way I felt about the band. Guess that shows I am definitely a slave to the music, huh.

Taime was always flirting with Gothic scene and industrial music. He even work in the Retail Slut a goth, punk underground fashion store in Los Angeles. He started from early 90's with darker hair, darker clothes and darker sound in his projects. Now kids get off, learn your facts before trying to criticize him!! Anyway great band with a great frontman. :)

Yeah, mind you the drummer got taped down in an elevator by Duff, Izzy, and Slash cause he fell asleep on Duffs bed XD.. Or was it Izzys bed.. Oh well haha!!!

The cool thing in the 80's was that the classic heavy metal guys really knew how to dress up!!I mean, they all looked dressed to kill unlike these daysl!! Long hair! Cowboy boots! Tight jeans! Skinny cloth! No beard! No moustache! Nowadays in the 21st century "wanna-be" metal guys look like this: Beards, baggy jeans, glasses, bald, fat...I mean, hello? That's not how heavy metal guys are supposed to look like. These days those "wanna-be" heavy metal kids just sadly don't have any style !!

I freakin' agree with you !I loved the 80's hang on the sunset strip that's why the metal guys always got laid! Haha they knew how to dress to get the girls, GOd they were hot! Clean and smelling soooooo hot no beards, I hate beards! They knew how to get the girls excited ,and they delivered lol boy did they delivered the goods on stage and in the sack. Then came grunge ugh! Disgusting! Fithy, . I did and will always love "pretty boys look GOD do I miss those days! My favorite band who else " pretty boy Floyd"
