@@itzoryx well, the ender Pearl is travelling for as long as it can, if you placed the machine it would go farther, this cannon gives the enderpearl multiple gts of travel, and entity's start dipping after 1 game tick (which is 0.05 seconds) so you could fire a peice of tnt through a 1x1 hole from 100 blocks away, but that's only for 1gt, the next gt (2nd gt of travel) it will no longer go through a 1x1, if you want more of an explanation u can ask for my discord lol

@ki kus First of all, improve your grammar before you start criticizing people. That will improve your arguments immensely. Secondly, you didn't need to start bashing people for making a joke. This joke doesn't state that it's useless. On the contrary, math is NOT useless. However, for many branches of life that one can take, learning math to such a high degree is useless. Also, you can't be BAD at math, you can only be impatient and not practice enough. Being humorous about math is actually good, because you can make it fun to learn. Lastly, technically everything is useless because we'll all die anyways. But that doesn't stop us from doing the things we do anyways. To use your example, people get mad if you say badminton is useless because they enjoy playing it, or they build their lives around it. However, most other people won't care, and will ignore your comment. Good day.

Ok bear with me: The mechanism takes about 15 seconds to fire. The pearl moves at 18,000 blocks per second. Max range before server crash is 2,100,000 blocks. Thats 116.66 seconds for the pearl travel. 30 divided by 2.1 is 14.2, you you would have to use 14 cannons (and push your luck a little) to reach the world border from 0,0 in the nether. So 116.66 times 14.2 equals 1,656 seconds for total pearl travel time, and 15 times 4 is obviously 60. So a perfect run would yield a travel time of 1,716 seconds, or 28.6 minutes. If you want to play it safe and use 15 cannons, then the pearl travel time wont change, as the pearl is traveling the same distance at the same speed. You just add another 15 seconds onto your time so its 1,731 seconds or 28.8 minutes. *TO THE WORLD BORDER.*

It is actually any massless particle, including photons and gluons. The higgs field doesn't constantly exchange weak hypercharge with them so they don't have mass, which through really complicated stuff means that they don't experience time as they travel with no resistance. The reason it is c in E=mc2 is because the c is causality. This comment is quick and also not very logical but it is my pet peve when someone says speed of light. I am watching this video despite that because I wanna build one. Does anyone know if it works in 1.15?

@@infernon u can still do it, but you have to have a chain of portal loaders from spawnchunks or another player trough all the pearl's trayectory, so its pretty laggy and more expensive than before. Now its better to make a Mumbo's tnt canon like with a totem or a ravager-knockback-exploit-llama-launcher xD

And actually there is a theoretical limit to speed in mc that is how fast you can go without hitting an invisible barrier made of unloaded chunks. Something like a bit less than 100 chunks/tick. Chunk loaders included... so the epearl isnt FTL anyway...

Actually light is a LOT faster than this. That pearl took more than 20 seconds to go 88,000 blocks = 88km The speed of light is 299,792,458m/s which means that in 20s a photon ("light particle") would travel 6,000,000km So 88km in 20s is very, very far away from the speed of light.

@@sebastianjost you know from E=m.c^2 that photons are super wightless (light) (pun intended). Although we don't know the mass of an ender pearl we can say there is a lot of buffing to be done on its speed if it was photon-weight

Just imagine doing this on a Factions server. Will the pearl be so fast that it breaks the limit barrier of the factions map limit? So you glitch outside it and no one can raid you

Felo if it’s a plug-in border it will just tp you back to the edge where the pearl entered. If it’s a vanilla border either you will die instantly or just not be able to place blocks. I also think you need to load all the chunks otherwise the pearl will get stuck

@@ovencake523 Yeah, 2b2t has thousands of chunks loaded at the same time. Adding a couple thousand more is gonna get you priority banned for lag machines (A priority ban is where your Minecraft account is blacklisted from Hause's 2b2t store and you can no longer buy priority queue)

@@mihirpatil8843 maybe, cuz if you don't charge a bow completely the dmg is lower same goes for dispenser shooting arrows. Also another proof is crossbow deal more damage than bows and arrows shot from a crossbow travel faster.

So now you need a version that can select from all 4 directions and have the number of TNT variable to change launch distance. Or even change the slime pusher timings so the initial launch trajectory can be changed to fine tune distances :). This is truly insane, well done.
