The Porsche 911 Turbo is one hell of a beast when fully upgraded with a maximum Downforce setup. If you perfect launch, you're already 100m in the lead in a fraction of a second with no nitrous
@@adityasehara366 in the pause menu, if you have a spoiler and performance upgrades equipped, you can "tune" the car. The downforce setup is to have steering and downforce all the way to the plus side. The downforce setup increases grip in the corners so there's less of a need to severely slow down in order to not crash into the walls lol. However, this has the expense of making your car have a slightly lower top speed, but with nitrous in the game, that's really not an issue at all.
@@demirkanerdurakIt's a catch on mechanics for the game. Npcs that fall behind too far will pick up speed that's not bound by any vehicle or performance limitations which is intended to keep a more competitive experience. But mainly it's either not really noticeable or too toxic. Basically what happens is the speedometer of the AI car will drop to 0 and it'll accelerate to unknown speeds and it keeps that speed until it passes you or recovers distance. And since the AI doesn't have handling mechanics as grounded as us, they can keep that same crazy speed even around the corners. That's why higher heat lvl cops cannot be outrun
Once upon a time, international competitions in this game were held. I remember in one game magazine there was an interview with the world champion and, among other things, his records were written. I spent a lot of hours trying to break records. In my best attempt, I was behind “only” by 15 seconds. And the most important thing. Absolutely all pro-players played only on Lotus Elise. One single time I saw a Porsche Carrera, but this guy finished last in the race.
1. Clio V6 2. Cobalt 3. Supra Once I decided that I will complete the game in a different car but I loved the Clio so much that I chose it once again xd
@@rajnibrown2194 The Ford gt goes over 460 on fully tuned except transmission on stock dude. Dont even argue with me on that. Even the punto is overall faster than the carrera gt lmao.
@@l9tv123 no car goes to 460 in this game 😂😂😂... Murcielago has the highest top speed and the Ford gt stops at 389kmh 😂😂😂... Man, you never seem to amaze if how dumb you are 😂
I remember playing omega circuit online because you could go backwards at the start and pretty much do free roam with ppl. Evo fully upgraded with stock steering was the perfect drift missile.
@@thezig2078Cause it fucking is. Best seller by a mile in the franchise. You think people bought the game because of a passing whim or that it's still as popular today as it was upon release? Haters gonna hate, tf can I say honestly. Brain-dead mfs
It's either Carbon or MW for most people as the biggest hits. Me personally MW all the way, cops mechanics is GOATED and hasn't been as of yet matched. Most of the games in the franchise after are either mid or dogwater. I can't blame the games tho, they went roughly from 6-9 months of development so it's not really the devs fault
The only problem is that Elise Punto and Lancer have same sound engine Also the CTS and Cobalt Is300 and Supra a little Gallardo and Carrera GT etc But I still love
Ford GT is my go to car everytime... has a pretty high speed, even more than the carrera gt, and handles pretty good too... also drifts pretty well. But if you wanna drift, go for Elise, cuz she handles pretty awesome in cut corners...... But we all know which car forever resides in all our hearts: BMW M3 GTR
cayman s maxed is also very useful, cuz it accelarates fast and the handling is perfect when in high speeds. i would HIGHLY suggest you use cayman s maxed in carreer it helps out alot.
If you can manage to get all junk man parts on the cobalt, it ends up being an absolute beast that stays topped out constantly, provided you can keep it under control.
Anyone else thinks that Earl should've been higher on the blacklist since he was by far the hardest one to beat(don't lie you know u lost to him at least once)
Cobalt SS > M3 GTR Only legends understand. It's one of the first cars and and absolute underdog. It's like your starter Pokemon, you will love it till the end and make it as strong as possible.
In my opinion, any Porsche, the BMW, the Evo, the Sti, and the Lotus are considered the best cars. If I gave an honorable mention to the others, I would say the 3 starters.
Lotus Elise hell yeah, i had some Lap Record on my PS2 the time was 5 minutes 42 Sec on NFS World Loop Track this video was correcting my record cuz my friend accused me of cheating LoL
my masochism allowed me to complete the game with a stock cobalt ss unpopular opinion: the Porsche 911 rsr is just the lotus elise making a cameo appearance
Who exactly says that about the M3, it has like the best handling in the game lol Plus, gto and monaro might be the slowest cars, but they are OP for pursuits, literally unstoppable.
This is how I determine which cars are the fastest 1. Tune each car to the max (junkman optional but recommended) 2. Pick a track with a good balance of straights and corners (Little Italy is a decent example so I use that as the proving grounds for both standard and mod/addon cars) 3. Have the same tuning setup for each car (I prefer max aero and leaving the rest in the middle) 4. For balance, nitro and speedbreaker cannot be used during the race 5. Manual transmission is to be used across all cars 6. Traffic is set to none and World Level Detail to minimum to minimize crashing into traffic and debris, respectively. If available, use ExtraOptions to eliminate the competition to avoid collisions with other racers 7. Run each car through the course a number of times and record the fastest time for each car
@@mrpayne508fr8 Exactly. I tuned that boat Kaze's CLK 500 and it turned out to be very competitive in races. Now she handles like a Lotus (but Lotus is still king in handling).
Also when you leave stock transition in ford gt and everything else maxed you can get to insane top speeds, once i got 424 and it was still going byt i crashed
Ughhh these old NFS games had such good sounds! So exaggerated but just realistic enough. Modern games all try way too hard at being realistic that they forget to make the cars actually sound exciting
@@krazer5737 Junkman parts are special performance parts that can be obtained for use in Career mode only by selecting a Unique Performance Part marker when you defeat a Blacklist racer
