i was 'not sure' about those 2mm arms at first, but the stiffness helps. Survives average hits, just not full senders

the structure as a whole is pretty strong, it takes a lot of hits that I wouldn't expect it to.

I loved the comparison with Ferraris and F1 cars. That's exactly the philosophy behind that frame. Definitely not for beginners who crash all the time ( Finz has also the V1 version that is more durable, perfect for beginners who want to get a taste of the ''skill boost'' ) Swapping arms is a pain initially but when you get used to it, you can repair the entire frame in 10 minutes.

I run really high rates, this quad is the only one that feels like it turns like my rates ask it to. (actual: 200 1000 0.51 on all )

The biggest advantage, in my opinion, is the footprint. Even if ur not the fastest, having a frame smaller than the others makes you to turn faster. And there you gain time

man i love my cube. maybe thats why i like this thing so much. I kept both of my cubes (229, and 339), when i almost never keep old quads. so ahead of their time.

Thank you Jon E5! I love the Fox Crooked but it just too fragile for me! This year I was running the Five33 LS V2 with the updated arms and man is that a durable light and stiff quad. But next year I'll be trying out the DinDrones OZR-5X with the POD baby!! You got that right! Pod racing! Cheers bro!

lol, pod racing! I'm actually testing the LS v2 ultra today. See how that thing does. I do love a good pod though, so far got a pair of those OZR and havnet managed to break a pod yet. Lets go pod racing!

Great flying frame! I agree with your conclusion. I built a few and broke them all at a GQ, lol. Not sure I'm ready to full commit, but it certainly has advantages.

I'm in sport class but this thing flies like it is on rail compared to my previous frame. there is a LOT of extra noise in the pid loop to filter out because of the overlapping blades, and I need to get the tune from hyper because I was incapable of getting rid of the propwash. it was a huge change, I was on a 4s floss lite and starting to push that quads limits; now I feel like I'm barely holding on to the back of a rocket, with miles of room for improvement.

@@PaoloPonzoFinz true, the blades don't care if they hit each other. but it is easy to get the props on the two lowered arms to impact the frame and stop the motor. I personally don't try to get up if crash, but I don't have anything on the line when I race.

i dont fly IRL but on sim i prefer fly the Singularitum V5 cause i feel more smooth and consistent. but some drones are better for tracks with long straight lines with not a lot of tech parts, and some are better for tech parts but more wierd for long turns, straight lines parts

To bad it broke appart on impact. My SniperX took several beatings and high drops on hard surfaces. The FC is wacked, but the frame is still going. This frame seems like a hassle to repair. Seems like you'd need several builds all the time.

once you get used to it it is easy to work on, and honestly the structure as a whole is really sturdy, but if you hit it at the wrong angle or barrel it into gate pipes, it can also easily break struts and arms. the only really negative thing I can say about durability is: because the blades are so close together and to the frame, if you bend a prop you are probably done. but personally I'm sport class, I generally disarm when I hit stuff because I'm not super competitive.

It doesnt happen that much though When they are so bent that you cant fly you wouldnt fly on regular frames either When they barely touches nothing happens really.. I've seen a final on the italian championship when a pilot had a crash and bent the prop but coul finish (and win) anyway

the only real issue is the two "lower" arms, its easy for those two props to bend down and catch the frame. really it doesn't matter, because it performs crash flip mode terribly, and once you are down you are probably going to stay there.
