This series aims to show the best vehicles to use in GTA Online in a racing situation. That is, around a regular circuit with a mix of corners and straights. The word "Fastest" means nothing without some context - these are the fastest vehicles around a circuit. How Lap Times Were Obtained Accurately
The best lap time a vehicle can achieve around a circuit determines how good it is and therefore its place within this list.
Each vehicle was taken around the same circuit multiple times, with the best lap time being recorded. For most vehicles this equates to 10 laps per vehicle, but can often be more to ensure the absolute best lap time has been achieved with the vehicle. There are some caveats to this kind of testing though which are worth explaining below.

I recommend reading this for anyone who is confused, interested, or doubts the validity of the results in this video as it explains in great detail the extent to which these results will be useful for you personally, in addition to linking the track used for your own testing/comparison.*
So with that all being said, my vehicle testing should be taken as a guideline. The testing is very accurate for this track and similar tracks when cars are driven close to the maximum without any extra refinements. At the very least you should be able to use this testing to help narrow your field of view for your own personal testing. I would always recommend testing a variety of cars yourself and take into account what kind of tracks you're racing on, what is better for you and your skill level, and even your budget. My testing is meant to guide you, not tell you exactly what to use in every situation.

It’s not a even just how accurate and consistent he is it’s also the fact he’s tested every single vehicle in the game himself so they’re all comparable to each other because he’s the only one who drives the cars so it’s like the perfect baseline control setup in a science experiment

I actually wish that he'd be willing to take up offroad vehicle testing, like rock crawling, climbing, suspension, braking, etc. Digital Car Addict does it, but it's very unscientific in it's approach and leads to numbers that don't mean much. Like for example it has multiple tests that almost every vehicle he tests gets a 10/10 in.. if every car gets a 10/10 then you need to change the test so we can actually compare them. Also his testing combines multiple aspects that muddy the results. Dirt road acceleration, rock crawling, braking, climbing, water survivability.. all those scores get combined into one single score. The Sandking is very low on the list, and yet it'd be high as hell if it were just rock crawling. Much lower is it was climbing. And near last if it were racing.

i think the new side by side format is a good idea. its more concise and while it may not show the cars as well as being in full screen view, theres likely plenty of footage online of them if people want to seek it out for themselves. if it makes making these videos easier, id say go for it

There's a reason we all watch you and the entire community plugs your channel when someone anywhere asks anything about car pace: you race professionally (in a sense, at least) and have a significantly better understanding of handling than anyone else out there. What I'm getting at is, I don't think we really care how the video is formatted. Whatever gives you time to give your two-cents and really delve into the pros/cons of a car. Top speed this, acceleration that, grip this-- that's what we're here for. So, this format is great. We have all the statistical information we need, and you have space to edit it how you want and give yourself room to explain your true thoughts on the car. I like this format a lot, but as long as you feel you have conveyed the crucial information I will be happy. Thank you for all the work you do. Passion or not, it is a very valuable body of information you have been compiling over the last decade or so, and I know I appreciate it

I like this new styling of video format. Seeing both the top speed and lap time in the same screen helps give a viewer just skipping through a good overall assessment of a car. I think bringing one screen into full view once in a while would improve this format even better. Cutting to just the lap time recording to demonstrate a car losing speed over a bump or traction in a corner would put more emphasis on that particular point. Likewise, bringing the top speed into view when a car has a particularly high top speed would also add emphasis. Very solid video, I've been watching you since high school, and now I've graduated college. Great to see you're still around, keep up the amazing work you do for this community.

I like the side by side format. I come, specifically, to you for the testing of cars because I like the way you present the information. Most of the time I’m not even paying attention to the gameplay because I just like listening to you talk. Even if you just had a spreadsheet showing the top speed and lap times of the cars I’d still watch your videos over other people because of the fact that I’m mainly just here to read the lap time and top speed, then listen to you talk while I stare into nothingness.

This new format works for sure - it's not too dissimilar to the previous videos so it's still nice and familiar. Cheers for the video man. I wish there was a way to implement replay overlays so that we could compare cars directly on the track - like having ghost-car replays. And if that were possible, being able to scrutinise the cars round each particular segment of the track to see time losses (by manipulating lap times as opposed to keeping the timing static) would be invaluable.

New formats good man. I appreciate how concise it was. The only time splitting the screen to show two runs will be a disadvantage is when you are trying to make an example of some specific handling characteristic. Perhaps you could just have full screen cuts for special situations where you want to call attention to the way a car is behaving.

I kinda expected the Entity MT (both normal and HSW versions) would be the fastest for lap time and top speed for the DLC but at the same time, I knew they were not gonna be top competitors for the class as a whole. I'm not really too concerned though about whether you show both results one after the other or side by side, I feel like you should do whichever one may be easier for you to edit and post. As long as I get to see the results, I'm happy.

I liked the setup for this video. I don't have any other ideas but this style in particular is serviceable at the very least. I personally do not pay much attention to the top speed part of things, as it tends to not be all that relevant in a racing setting, but it is useful to know.
