Oh .... I did not know that. China had maglev for past 20 years!! I don't think US has it even today! May be Germany has one. Rest of the Europe is out of question. Wow!
It's crazy that this train has been sitting at the top as the fastest commercially operating train for 20 years straight and nobody now has taken any move to try to beat that record!
If China replace this ageing maglev train present cruising speed 300 kph with their new maglev train 600 kph (presently testing), it will reduce the journey time from 8 mins to 4 mins, China speed that's out of this world 😳
The one who is _out of this world_ is you! 😂 The *_CF600_* uses the same technology from germany as the current train set *_TR08,_* on which he's based. The cruising speed of the current trains was set to 300 kph by the operator for certain rides during the day to save energy. Other rides with more customers still do 430 kph. The train set itself however is set for cruising speeds up to 550 kph, which can't be reached, because the track has a length of only around 30 km. That being said it's obvious, that the *_CF600_* won't go any faster than 430 kph either. China isn't going to replace the *_TR08_* train sets any time soon. What they consider to do is testing the *_CF600_* on the tracks, because they are longer as the test track of the university where CRRC is developing the *_CF600_* together with ThyssenKrupp.
@@jixuanwu4009 I'm sorry for you, because you obviously missed this beautiful opportunity. 😂 The trains are able to go 430 kph on this line, there are plenty of videos on youtube to prove it. Maybe they don't do it anymore, but they did it for 20 years, so it's actually pretty pointless to discuss. The reason to drop the faster trips is their energy consumption and Shanghai's problems to provide enough power. The train itself can even go 550 kph depending on track profile. For further information just read my comment above.
Originally it was set and used to 400km/he when there were less stops in between. They have since capped it out at 300-350 km/hr first safety reasons due to short travel distances and increase in the number of in between stops. When I last ride it in 2010 in max at 400.
Soon that maglev train (from the airport) will not be the fastest in the world anymore. China has come up with even a faster one. A whopping 1000 km/hr (620 miles/hr) train.
yeah well, this train is only a plan and not even a concept vehicle exist. I highly doubt that they will realize that, because air drag will be killing it's efficiency. On the other hand china is big and it is still better than a plane..... so maybe they will realize it, but that will take at least 15-20 years. Even in China.... look how long Elon Musk is working on his Hyperloop....
@@liongjiahwong5478 nah... anyone able to read the time table (digist are arabic, so you should be able) can learn when it goes 300 and when 430 kph. A ride with 220 kph isn't offered.
You are saying “you pay that much” so how much? If you’re blogging your journey and mentioning expensive fair, then state the amount. I heard it’s not expensive compare to Europe train fair with the same distance.
the comment is ridiculous.... of course you check first hwere you want to go and board after. if you have no business to do at Longyang Road why would you go there?
Who told you it went to the center of the city? I took a taxi (crazy fast drive who wanted to impress me ahead of the high-speed train ride) to the station.
And Germany doesn’t even have a maglev line 😂 btw china has invented a newer model and they’re planning to replace the old outdated German Maglev 😂in the future
@@user-vh2ug4up1k The project is highly delayed and constructions are currently stopped. They won't open the connection before 2035. I'm pretty sure China will open his 2nd connection before the one in Japan opens.
