Here's an interesting breakdown: Poshmark Sharing Tool (PST): 2 min, 45 seconds = 165 seconds / 161 items = 1.024 seconds/item Poshmark Sidekick (PSK): 2 min, 29 seconds = 149 seconds / 161 items = 0.925 seconds/item 200 items on PST: 204.8 seconds (about 3 min, 24 seconds) 200 items on PSK: 185 seconds (about 3 min, 6 seconds) 400 items on PST: 409.6 seconds (about 6 min, 48 seconds) 400 items on PSK: 370 seconds (about 6 min, 10 seconds) 1000 items on PST: 1,024 seconds (about 17 min, 4 seconds) 1000 items on PSK: 925 seconds (about 15 min, 25 seconds) Plugging the numbers into a spreadsheet with a formula will give you a great idea based on the number of items in your closet! A simple formula you can use is (# of items) * 1.024 seconds = total seconds you will manually share with the PST tool. Then divide by 60 seconds to get an idea of how many minutes it'll take. For PSK, just substitute 1.024 for 0.925. Hope this helps you make a decision, everyone! We don't use either tool, but we did the math to see if this made sense for us, so we figured we'd share! My closet has 1600 listings, adding daily , are u aware of Poshmark jail ? Sharing my closet 6 times a day puts me almost there. Dont think the sharing tools are for my closet, dont want to go to jail...your opnion ?

I wish i could afford the one designed by the ladies husband and support a small business, but 8 extra dollars is alot right now, i will try both in the future
No issues here after using it for more than a year. But I kept my sharing to be pretty reasonable! Poshmark also has bulk sharing with a select all option now, so you can just utilize their feature
I recently joined the dark side because I couldn't afford paying a VA anymore ☠️ and I have almost 1000 items so there's no way I'm clicking through those myself 🤐🤷🏽♀️

Hi Ashley: Thank you for sharing Canadian Poshmark information. Your advice has convinced me to give Poshmark a try. I haven't sold anything, but I have many items from the family closets to list and pass on for new life. Thrifting is a hobby I love and this will give me the excuse to go again.

Hi Shanny, pro tip!, If you are logged into gmail on the same web browser. You may receive less captchas to solve, but it is Poshmarks way to prevent people from using bots.

I've been looking into this after seeing it on your instagram! I think i only have 60 active listings right now so its not something I need right now but its such a good option to have in the future!
I cannot afford that now and only have 65 things in my closet.. I can’t figure out how reshare just on my phone or iPad .. I go my closet then on the upper top right I see a bag and the tool wrenches.. I pressed that and get a pull down and there it says share my closet I do that then get a weird pull down that shows send to friends like SMS then email and copy link then it says share to your network like facebook and Instagram and Pinterest and twitter and tumblr and that’s it .. what am I doing wrong .. I’ve been on Poshmark two weeks and cannot figure it out .. Thank you
Thank you for this! I didn’t know that this kind of thing existed! Def going to try out the free trial from posh sidekick and will likely purchase a subscription. At $0.57 CDN/day for the year sub it is well worth it for me to save time and the agonizing task that is sharing. Even if I don’t make any extra sales, just reducing my share time is everything. Wow! the Poshmark sidekick is amazing, I mean I only have 72 active listings but there is definitely a difference in time use when sharing. I am going to take advantage of the 7-day trial but I don't think I will purchase the membership because of the cost. If my business does get bigger then I'd consider it. I am sure it will greatly benefit people who have a larger active listing though. Great video Ashley!! :) ♥
Hi here's a question for you that none's asked before (that i can see anywhere). Is there a way to transfer your poshmark listing (aka closet) from one account to another? I know there is nothing like that on PM but was hoping a third party app...maybe an app that will allow me to bulk save my listings (talking about hundreds of items) on a third party platform then list them on an entirely separate PM account..no i am not trying to duplicate list, just need to move them from one account to another and so far i have not seen anyone address this issue. Your quick response would be cheerfully accepted. Thankyou.
If you are trying to list your existing PM items to another account. I suggest cross-listing it to another platform. It will be easier for you to track and mark sold items. Poshsidekick also has an app for crosslistings that automatically mark your items as sold in other platforms when someone purchased it in any of your marketplaces.
I don't know if this is the place to ask this question. I know that most Poshers state that you do not need a lot of followers. I share my items with my followers. I do not see another way of sharing my items with the Poshers at large, or in the feed, who are not my followers. Please advise me how I can share with the non-followers. I don't see anything under sharing where I can share with everyone. Thank you.
I wouldn’t worry about having many followers on Poshmark! When you share your own items, it matters most because it sends it to the top of search (as the general current default for search is by “just shared”) It’s a bit confusing, but sharing your items shares them to more than just your followers. I'm going to clarify. I was using the tool, and I kept getting more and more of those captchas coming up. I knew that I was being flagged, so I contacted them to make sure that I wasn't going to have my closet shut down. When they got back to me, they said it is absolutely against the rules. If someone can show me proof to the contrary, I'm going to go with that. I thought Poshmark Sidekick was great. If I can still use it, I will.
Oh no, Viki! I'm sorry to hear you were having issues with it. My understanding is that both Poshmark Sidekick and Poshmark Sharing Tool were approved (both have emails from Poshmark shared via their Instagram accounts). And based on Poshmark's rules and guidelines, I don't understand what it would be going against? Since it's up to you to double click each item to share it.
@@ashleygibson1 I agree. I sent them a copy of the email that was supposedly from Poshmark, and they said the program was not linked with them. I have no idea what to believe.
So far it's been working really well for me, but I'm not sure if others are having a different experience. If anything, it's worked in my favour because I've been sharing more.
