Gold shop was good imo, but they said the gold shop was so people didn't have to macro evo materials. Once people run out of gold the only way to get more is essentially to macro

btw, i would not recommend selling mythic units like chae-in for example. Like perry said ascensions are integral in leaderboard stuff but spare ones should also be used as ascension as each time u ascend u get stat chips which is rly useful as there isnt a sustainable way to get those for ppl like me who is usually at work for most of the day so dont rly got that time to hop on once every half hr. Even if u get a spare max ascension unit, if u get stats on them that u want on others, upon usin that stat transfer, it resets ascension as well so u can repeat this process.
The fastest and most efficient way to get gold is to literally afk on the new inf (you'd get about 10k in 3-5 hours) and you get exp lvls and foods too
My thought on this: since they added "each 4 waves will giving you exp food" in infinite which took you around 30 minutes to reach 50+ waves, while story mode you must spend like 5 minutes just to earn 100 golds, 3-6 exp food and 80 gems each. With 800 gems, you summon and get 10 units, selling rare unit gives 100 golds, epic for 300 golds (maybe), legend for 500 or 800 golds (i don't really remember), etc...
Infinity mode gives more gold from suumon then story, bcs u can get over 200 gems per 15 wave. In story u can get 80 gems +100 gold, but 100 gold like 2 rares from summon, and thats just 100 gems. Its mean inf can get more gold🤔
when gold merchant came, i was buying out the whole shop daily without thinking then i noticed wow my gold is going down FAST so now I don’t spend in the gold shop unless i rlly need to

You missed out on the paragon bug in update 0.5. Where strong wasn’t doing anything and people were able to get to level 100+, which gave like 1000+ gems per level
