This is the first step workout we've done - let us know if you want to see more like it! Remember - if you don't have an aerobic step you can modify slightly and use stairs or a sturdy bench.
Can you two answer this question for me. K after a HIIT workout, Kelli said something about afterburn??? Whats this and can i do another workout same day i did a HIIT workout (thats a little less intense) and burn more fat at a faster rate??? I'm not sure if yall have covered afterburn before but i would really like to take advantage of it. I need to get a step bench, they can't cost that much right?? lol >.>
Tall Josh Lol, a good quality step costs about $90. There are cheaper ones that run for $40 or so but they are not as wide. The one that Kelli is using is probably 41 inches wide.
I loved this workout I thought it was perfect! I dont have a lot of time but I can fit 12 mins into my day. I wasnt sure it was going to be worth doing because its just 12 minutes but it is really intense. As far as the music goes, I personally prefer not to have it in the video--its distracting and it allows me to concentrate on the moves. Thanks again for this workout!
i really liked this workout, i dont have a bench but i used a wii board as i know you can use that for step aerobics, i love step aerobics and would love to see a longer on one here but not too long maybe 20-30 mins, thank you for the great vid :)

I love it! What others criticize is good for me - no music! I play my own playlist, totally not aerobics-like, but something what I really like, no matter it doesn't really match the rhythm and movements ;-) I also appreciate that you don't talk all the time, that you are calm and not overenthusiastic, not shouting "gimmie more baby!!!" etc. Another good thing is the next exercise shown - it especially help when my own music is played :-) This is the first workout of yours that I've done and after that I am eager to workout longer ones, thank you!
Step aerobics is one of my favorite forms of cardio. I can't speak for the rest of your fitness followers, but I would definitely vote in favor of more of these videos in the future!
I'm new to step workouts, and yeah, most others use music, but it was excellent. No BS, no nonsense, no ego. This was from 2014, so it was amazing as a first video, and I'm sure you've got many, many more. I'm definitely subscribing. Thank you!!
I LOVE and appreciate that your videos are music-less. This allows me to put own favorites on in the background. I'm a metal head and all the watered down pop/rock or public domain used today for most fitness programs makes working out painful for me mentally, so thanks!! I'm entering 55 in 12 weeks and intend to do so toned and strong.
Only recently bought a stepper. Didn't know what do to with it. This workout is great. Water running down me, but so much fun. Thanks guys. Will like to see more workouts like this.
I never thought a step workout would be so intense. I use this at planet fitness. they have a 30 minute workout rotating 10 steppers and 10 workout machines. omg just 3 times a week of this and my body feels a different. this is awesome. I'm checking out what else u have after this. thanks so much
Did it! Dripping with sweat! I love this but I really love how short it is. I think a 15-20 minute one would be perfect. Yes please, more step videos! Kudos for sandwiching the difficult moves between not so difficult moves :)
I really liked it! I've put off doing this one because I prefer longer work outs but did this one today to supplement another workout I did. I've been doing your workouts for a long time and I'm in decent shape, and this one really got my heart rate up! I agree with other comments that I'd love to see a longer one, maybe even one that includes some weights. Thanks!!
I just got a step, and I workout to your jump rope routine and I just love that you are real nothing glamorous just real life work out. and you inspire me to continue and want to workout so thanks for keeping it simple but true to self. Love this one! I really appreciate that there are some 'lighter' intervals in between the really tough ones. I would love to see more step videos like this, maybe in the 15-25 minute range. I also love there's no cool down, so I can do this to get in some cardio and really warm up those legs and then move onto lower body strength training.
I did this one again today and added my new set of risers. What a difference! I'd love to see a cardio/strength blend in the future using the step, maybe a 30-45 minute routine using dumbbells too for the strength portion?

I like your genuine personality about it. That you also find leg / butt day a challenge vs hiding your slight muscle fatigue. This is an exercise for the everyday person, vs who wants to be wonderwoman. Also your not intimidating therefore you don't lose my interest. Your real. =) I bought a Step just so I could do this video. Thank you. Also, thank you for not putting music, I could focus more on my breathe and listen to my body more. Much appreciated.

This was great. I have been doing body step for a few months and this is better. It has more of the feel of HIIT. I love it. Great job to the instructor :)

Grt video, really it targets butt n thigh fat. I'm doing it for every day n really seeing a difference, within a week I lost 1inch waist. Really really appreciate you guys n now I've also started ur fat burning cardio workout.

great first step warmup - suggestion for the next one. Mention the modification at the beginning of the interval - a few of these I couldn't take and didn't know how to modify it until it was almost over and I just wasted the 50 seconds.
I loved it! I have always wondered why step went away. It is a great cardio and lower body toning workout. I say yes...keep it coming...time makes no difference just another one please.
Oh my goodness, I had requested a step workout a while ago. Please do more, full-length routines and if possible add weights to them too. There are very few step routines available out there. Please keep them coming. I have not watched it yet but I am sure it will be pretty darn good. Thank you so much.

Awesome workout..I even broke a sweat! I especially liked the fact that you included a modified version for two of the jump up exercises..My body is unconditioned so it was great that you did that! Would love to see more videos using the step, possibly one that incorporates upper body with weights. Thanks for a great video!
